Domestic Pokemon Part 2

Domestic Pokemon Part 2
These are humanoid Pokemon that I made domesticated. They include the fan favorite Psychic-Type Pokemon Ralts, Kirlia, Gerdevoir, and Gallade (Only male Kirlia can evolve into Gallade, but you can still have a male Gardevoir)...
The popular Electric-Type Pokemon Elekid, Electabuzz, and Electivire (they live near electric Power Plants)...

Gothita, Gothorita, and Gothitelle, which are kind of copies of Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir…

Mime Jr. and Mr. Mime, which some fans find disturbing...

The Psychic/Fighting-Types Meditite and Medicham...
PicturePicture
Timburr, Gurdurr, and Conkeldurr, which are kind of copies of Machop, Machoke, and Machamp (except these can be found in the wild, specifically Africa)...

And the Dark/Steel-Type soldiers Pawniard and Bisharp.
PicturePicture
The following are Pokemon based on inanimate/man-made objects, therefore wouldn't exist in the wild. Some of them include the Steel/Psychic-Type machines Beldum, Metang, and Metagross…

The fan favorite Ditto, which can transform into any Pokemon (and in the anime, any object)...

The notorious Porygon and Porygon2...
PicturePicture
The classic Electric/Steel-Type machines Magnemite, Magneton, and Magnezone…

Chingling and Chimeco, which are designed after Japanese bells (much like Baymax's face in Big Hero 6)...
PicturePicture
The Rock-Type statues Nosepass and Probopass (though they originally came from South America and neighboring islands)...
PicturePicture
The Steel/Fairy-Type key-chain Klefki...

And the rather unusual Klink, Klang, and Klinklang, which are basically copies of the Magnemite line.

That covers Domestic Pokémon! Next week, we'll see what Pokémon will live all over the world! Except for Antarctica.
Update! 4-27-20: I decided to ban the Honedge line, since they're rather dangerous.

Oscarless Cartoons Part 10

Oscarless Cartoons Part 10: Inner Workings (2016)
Inner Workings (film) poster.jpg
This short film was originally shown in front of Disney's Moana in theaters, and can be viewed on the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the movie. So what is Inner Workings? Let's find out.
Inner Workings is about a middle-aged man named Paul, and his organs, his brain, heart, lungs, stomach, and even bladder, control whatever he does. His heart wants to do fun things like dance in the shower and surf in the ocean, but the brain believes all the possible outcomes would be Paul's death.

When Paul finally arrives at his job, titled 'Boring, Boring, and Glum', everyone looks bored and sad. Brain imagines what would happen if all Paul did was work at his job until he becomes old and miserably walks to his coffin and waits to die.
Brain decides that he should let the other organs have fun while Paul is still in his prime: He lets the heart play on the beach, lets the stomach eat a big breakfast at a diner, and lets the bladder urinate in the ocean.
At first glance, you might be reminded of Inside Out. However, I believe Inner Workings has closer roots to the 1943 cartoon, Reason and Emotion, which was also source material for Inside Out. It was one of the many WWII propaganda cartoons that the Disney studios was forced to make during the 1940s. In this short, there are two people inside a human's brain: A reckless caveman named Emotion, and an upright gentleman named Reason. It's a bit of an ancestor to Inside Out.

However, instead of having a happy ending like Inside Out or Inner Workings, Reason and Emotion has a rather depressing ending with several soldiers dying.
I believe the reason Inner Workings didn't get the Oscar nomination for Best Animated Short Film because back in 2015, fans were mad that Feast, the short shown in front of Big Hero 6, won that Oscar, even though there were other short films that year that were better. Instead, Pixar's short film from last year, Piper, won the 2016 Oscar for Best Animated Short Film, their first Oscar win since For the Birds in 2000.
Well, that wraps up Oscarless Cartoons. I am so sorry that I didn't include Tex Avery's Red Hot Riding Hood. I excluded it because I felt it was not appropriate for my blog.
That's all I have to say for today, folks! Within the next several weeks, I will go over what humanoid and machine-based Pokemon would exist in our world, as well as Pokemon that would live on every continent except for Antarctica..
UPDATE! 7-11-18: Turns out I was wrong about the ending for Reason and Emotion. I was confusing it with the dramatizing cartoon Education For Death.

Domestic Pokemon Part 1

Domestic Pokemon Part 1
These are Pokemon that can be found indoors in regular buildings, since many of these would be either kept as pets, sources of entertainment, or as decorations. There are also many humanoid Pokemon in suburban environments, like Jynx, Mr. Mime, the Hitmon trio, and Machop, among others. However, Pokemon like Mudbray, Miltank, Spoink, Skiddo, and Mareep will NOT be found indoors. Instead, they can be seen on farms. There's also a Legendary Pokemon that can be found in museums, Magearna, but it switches from museum to museum, from coast to coast.
Picture
Because there are so many Pokemon in this category, I split this post into two.
Some domesticated Pokemon include Miltank, a Normal-Type cow that produces a nutritious milk...
Picture
Tauros, the aggressive male equivalent of Miltank...

The Psychic-Type pigs Spoink and Grumpig...

The Grass-Type goats Skiddo and Gogoat...
PicturePicture
The Electric-Type sheep and alpaca Mareep, Flaaffy, and Ampharos (which also live on South American mountains)…
The adorable fan favorite Togepi, as well as its evolutions Togetic and Togekiss...

Cherubi and Cherrim^, the latter of which has a different form when it evolves...

PicturePicture
The classic Water-Type goldfish and koi Goldeen and Seaking...
PicturePicture
And Alolan Raichu, which is Electric/Psychic instead of just Electric.
Picture
Alolan Raichu was a result of interbreeding and experimentation. After a scientist successfully breed a Raichu with an Espeon, they gave birth to a Pichu that, for some reason, knew Psychic-Type moves. When the Pokemon matured into Pikachu, a scientist brought back an Exotic Stone from a research trip, which evolves Alolan Vulpix into Alolan Ninetales and Exeggcute into Alolan Exeggcutor. When the time came to evolve Pikachu into Raichu, the Pikachu enthusiastically chose the colorful Exotic Stone. It evolved into Raichu, but it looked different, and became Electric/Psychic. After breeding this Raichu with a plain Raichu, scientists experimented the Thunder Stone and the Exotic Stone with two of their Pikachu: One Pikachu evolved into regular Raichu, while the other evolved into what is now Alolan Raichu.
*I made Phione domestic because I imagine them to be popular attractions at aquariums.
^When exposed to sunlight, Cherrim blooms and looks like this.
Sunshine Form
More will be talked about in Part 2, which I will post next week.
In related news, I decided that the Seedot line WILL exist in this world. I distributed them to Europe, where they live in Germany.
Update! 10-21-17: I moved Ponyta and Rapidash to North American Pokemon becuase I think it would be hard to ride a horse with a flaming mane. I think Mudsdale, one of the new Pokemon in Sun and Moon, is a safer alternative.
Update! 11-26-17: I moved Wynaut and Wobbuffet to Europe because I feel they're closer to the olm, a blind endangered amphibian that lives in caves in Croatia and Slovenia.
