"Up next," Madame Foster shouted through the megaphone. "Eduardo vs. Tina Rex!" When the two entered the arena, Eduardo was terrified of Tina, and he started running away from her.

"Come back!" She shouted. "I'm not going to hurt you!" She finally stepped on Eduardo's tail and picked up the imaginary friend.

"You're not going to eat me?" Asked Eduardo.

"Of course, not!" Said Tina. "I never eat my lunch alive. And just because I'm a T-Rex doesn't mean I'm a vicious brute."

"You're no Extreme-o-saur?" Asked Eduardo.

"No, I am not!" Said Tina. "However, my dad can be nasty and scary. That's because he's the only dinosaur that survived the mass extinction of 65,000,000 BC. He was helped by a group of  Alphadons, one of the first mammals, and they dug him a large burrow for him to hide in for millions of years. In 1995 AD, scientists dug up my father and put him in a secret laboratory, where he met my mom. The strange thing is, mom was a terror bird from 49 million years ago, so my parents were confused at first. Then, a scientist came over and told them that birds are in fact, the closest-living relatives to dinosaurs. They married later that year, and in 1997, I was hatched out of an egg. However, mother was getting sick, and the scientists had to move me and dad to Elmore. Since everyone would ridicule us as freaks, we were evicted to the junk yard. In other words, I may be a T-Rex, but I have the heart of a teddy bear."

"You do?" Eduardo asked timidly.

"Yes, I do." Said Tina. "Can we call the whole thing off?"

"Si." Said Eduardo, and the dinosaur dropped him.

"Next up," Madame Foster said through the megaphone. "Mandy vs. Nicole Watterson!" The cat and the human started walking towards each other.

"Grim!" Mandy shouted. "Throw me the chicken ball!" Grim threw the chicken ball at Mandy's face, and he and Billy laughed. Mandy took a bite out of the chicken ball and her hair turned a fiery orange.

"Turning Eastern, are we?" Asked Nicole. "Guess I have to change, too!" She then turned into an anime version of herself. "NOW I'M READY TO FIGHT!" Nicole punched Mandy, but Mandy blocked it.

"Now it's my turn." Said Mandy, and she punched Nicole and sent her flying.

"You're going to pay for that!" Said Nicole, and she started running towards Mandy. Mandy shot fireballs at Nicole, but the blue cat dodged many of them. When she approached Mandy, Nicole punched and scratched Mandy's face and chest.

"Is that how we're gonna play?" Asked Mandy. "Then I'll play you're game." She sent furious kicks at Nicole, but she blocked many of them. Nicole then delivered powerful kicks, and sent Mandy flying. Nicole then ran over to Mandy and pinned her to the ground. Unfortunately for Mandy, her powers ran out.

"Any last words to say, from a bratty little girl like you?" Asked Nicole.

"I'm not a bratty little girl." Said Mandy, who started to smile. "I am the bratty little girl."

Back at the CCN home base, Grim, who was finally put back together, was watching the fight through Dexter's telescope.

"Oh no!" He said. "Mandy smiled!"

"What's so bad about that?" Asked Jonny.

"Reality will fall apart and turn us into little girls with no fingers, bug-like eyes, and distinctive color schemes!" The PowerPuff Girls then looked at Grim with angry faces. "No offense, kiddos." Suddenly, light engulfed the battlefield, and both Mandy and Nicole disappeared.

Meanwhile, at the MCN home base...

"Not another loss of a loved one!" Pleaded Jake.

"Hold on a minute." Said Bobert. "It appears Nicole and Mandy have been sent to another dimension. Route home inaccessible."

"Not on my watch!" Said Gumball. "I have a portal gun!" Everyone looked at Gumball with weird looks. "What? It's invisible." Gumball then set the 'portal gun' to 'Alternate Dimensions'. He made a firing noise with his mouth, and suddenly, a real portal appeared in the sky!

"I told you it would work!" Said Gumball. Soon, Nicole and Mandy, who were back in their Western forms, fell out of the portal.

"Lock this brat up and send her back to the enemy base." Said Nicole.

Author's Notes: Nicole becoming an anime version of herself came from the Amazing World of Gumball episode 'The Fury'.

The outcome Grim hypothesizes about is from the Billy and Mandy episode 'My Fair Mandy'. In that episode, Mandy enters a beauty pageant, but there's one problem: She has to smile, but she never smiles. So, when Mandy did smile, she destroyed Endsville and turned herself, Billy, and Grim into The PowerPuff Girls.

Extreme-o-saurs were imaginary friends (in Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends) imagined by teenagers.

Tina Rex, who suspiciously looks like Tiny from Disney's Meet the Robinsons, was a frequent antagonist in Season 1 of The Amazing World of Gumball. However, in the episode 'The Fight', it is revealed that Tina is actually not a brute, but her dad is. From then on, Tina stopped bullying Gumball.

The biography written for Tina Rex and her father is not canon. I thought of it, myself.
The portal gun was from the Amazing World of Gumball episode 'The Points'. In that episode, Tobias Wilson, the colorful ball of fluff with lots of moo-lah, spends over 50,000 dollars on in-game weapons for 'Galaktrek'. Gumball and Darwin were jealous of him, so they do chores for Tobias so he can pay them points. However, Gumball and Darwin realize that the points were nothing at all, so they race Tobias to his house to tell his parents. However, Tobias had his weapons with him (except they're invisible), and one of Tobias's weapons was a portal gun.

In case you don't know, Tobias is the one fighting with Darwin, the goldfish with sneakers, in this picture.

However, this brings up a question: Why couldn't Rachel, Tobias's older sister from 'The Party', do his chores for him? In case you forgot Rachel looks a bit like a noseless Smurf.

Oh, well. There are already LOTS of characters on the show as it is.

WARNING! A character gets killed in this chapter.

"Next up," Madame Foster said through the megaphone. "Gumball Watterson vs. Blooerguard Q Kazoo!" The imaginary friend and the cat started walking towards each other. Bloo hit Gumball with a paddle ball, and the cat got a black eye.

"Where's your weapon, pussycat?" Taunted Bloo.

"I don't need a weapon." Said Gumball. He then ripped off his clothes, revealing a karate outfit underneath. "I have supreme karate skills!" He then lunged towards Bloo to deliver a karate chop, but Bloo dodged it, and Gumball injured his hand.

"Ow." Gumball muttered out quietly in pain.

"I heard your dad's a rabbit." Said Bloo. He then pulled out a sack of carrots. Bloo then started climbing a tree. "Then that means you would like carrots, too!" He started throwing carrots at Gumball, and he started running away from them. Bloo then hit Gumball with some eggs, but he couldn't take it anymore.

"Stop it!" He shouted. "Stop the madness!" Bloo then stepped down from the tree and walked towards Gumball.

"You surrender, buddy?" Bloo asked with a smug grin.

"No." Said Gumball. "I think I have a more civilized solution."

A couple minutes later, Gumball and Bloo decided to play 'Guardians of Sunshine' on BMO to settle the squabble. Bloo ended up winning.

"I beat your high score!" Bragged Bloo.

"Next up," Said Madame Foster once again through the megaphone. "Samurai Jack vs. Finn the Human!" As both Jack and Finn walked towards each other, both teams cheered their lungs out.

"What time is it?" Asked Finn.

"ADVENTURE TIME!" Shouted the MCN clan.

"Who had to get back from the past?" Asked Jack.

"Gotta get back, back to the past, Samurai Jack!" Shouted the CCN clan.

"Let's duel." Said Jack. He and Finn took out their swords and started dueling one another. Finn took out his Demon Blood Sword and swung it towards Jack, but the samurai blocked it with his sword. After a few minutes of clashing swords, Finn's Blood Sword finally broke. Luckily, he brought another sword, but this was a smaller sword that looked a bit like a fencing sword.

"You call that a sword?" Asked Jack.

"Uh-huh." Said Finn. "You have a problem with that?"

"No." Replied Jack. "The question is, do you have a problem with this?" He then pulled out his not-so-mini mini-gun, and Finn started to get nervous. He had no choice but to call for help.

"JAKE!" He shouted, and the magic doc stretched right over. "Can I use the Jake suit?"

"Yes you may, bro!" Said Jake, and Finn went inside the dog, and the boy and dog started fighting Jack together. Jack started firing his gun, but Jake, with Finn inside him, jumped very high, formed his fist into a hammer, and smashed Jack with it. However, Jack stabbed Jake with a kunai and made it out.

"Are you alright, Jake?" Asked Finn.

"I'm alright, Finn." Said Jake. "I'm a magic dog, remember?"

"Oh yeah." Said Finn. "I think I know the strategies to defeat this guy, Jake. You can go back."

"But we're in this together, bro!" Said Jake.

"You already fought in two battles today, Jake." Said Finn. "I don't want you to get killed. I also remember that time you used me as a suit."

"Okay, bro." Said Jake. He spat Finn out and gave Finn a box with something special inside. "Good luck!" Jake then headed back to the MCN campus. Finn opened the box and saw Scarlet, his original sword, in perfect condition. There was also a note attached.

Dear Finn,

We have heard a lot from your dog friend Jake about your love of swords. When we heard news about you and Jake going into war, we decided to ask our local blacksmith to build an exact copy of your first sword Scarlet. We hope you use this sword in combat!

After reading the letter, Finn grabbed Scarlet 2.0 and ran towards Jack. Jack then put his mini-gun on the ground and pulled out his sword. Finn and Jack then jumped in the air and hit each other with their swords. Jack managed to take a hit, but Finn collapsed to the ground.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jake shouted from the distance. Jake and Doctor Princess rushed over to Finn and carried him back to the MCN home base.

Back at the MCN home base, Jake, Marceline, and Phoebe were looking at Finn. He had a big gash on the side of his stomach. Jack also got injured a little, but after being stuck in the future for 50 years, he's been used to it.

"Please don't die, Finn!" Pleaded Jake. "You are the last one of your kind!"

"I know, Jake." Finn said weakly. "But I'll still be in your heart. I love you, Jake."

"I love you, too, bro." Sobbed Jake. Finn then closed his eyes and passed away.
"Wait!" Said Steven. "I might be able to bring him back to life."
"I don't think that's a good idea.' Said Pearl. "Remember what happened when you revived Lars after he got killed in an explosion?"
"He basically became a clone of Lion!" Said Amethyst.
"I know that if you were to revive him, he would get very upset." Said Garnet. Connie then walked over to Steven to comfort him.
"It's okay, Steven." Said Connie. "It's for the best."

Author's Notes: Prohyas, Vambre, and Grup are all from the Cartoon Network series Mighty Magiswords. It was the first show from Cartoon Network Studios since Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends to utilize Flash animation. However, it got weaker reviews.

In Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Bloo couldn't resist playing with paddle balls.

Scarlet is the name of Finn's first sword in Adventure Time.

The idea of Gumball using karate skills and failing miserably came from an early Amazing World of Gumball episode 'The GI'.

 

The idea for Bloo throwing vegetables at Gumball came from the Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends episode 'Duchess of Wails'. In that episode, everyone is fed up of having Duchess, who looks like an anteater drawn by Picasso, order everyone around. She looks something like this.

Anyway, they sell Duchess to an oblivious and dysfunctional family. However, there was a drawback: The new owners of Duchess live next door to Mac. Now, he and Bloo have to bring Duchess back to Foster's, but Madame Foster isn't willing to give up: She orders the other imaginary friends to throw vegetables at Mac and Bloo, while the front door is barricaded. In the end, Mac tells everyone about his dilemma, and they agree to return Duchess to Foster's.
The eggs, however, came from the episode 'Cuckoo for Coco Cards', in which Coco gives kids a tour of Foster's, making Bloo jealous. She also laid eggs that contained trading cards of all the imaginary friends. Bloo tries to impress them by throwing chicken eggs at the kids, but it fails miserably.
On occasions in Adventure Time, Finn would go inside of Jake and wear the dog as a suit, because of his amazing powers.

Yes. There was a moment in Samurai Jack in which Jack handled a gun. A big one at that.

Sorry. The final season of Samurai Jack is too violent for younger kids.

"Next up," Said Madame Foster through a megaphone. "Ed, Edd n Eddy vs. Phoebe Flame!"

"Please call me the Flame Queen." Said Phoebe. "I will be ambushing you bozos, now!"

"Not today!" Said Eddy, who donned a cowboy outfit. "Put your hands up, or else we have to resort to drastic measures! Got your squirt guns ready, boys?"

"I'm ready, Eddy!" Said Ed, who also had a cowboy outfit on.

"You know I always come prepared, Eddy!" Said Double D, dressed as a pioneer and carrying a first aid kid.

"Fire!" Said Eddy, and the Eds started squirting their squirt guns at the flame queen. After a few minutes of fighting each other, Phoebe started getting angry.

"Want to see what happens when you mess with the emotions of a Fire Elemental?"

"Yes!" Said Ed.

"No, Ed!" Said Double D and Eddy in unison. Ed then noticed a flame on the ground.

"I'll get it, Eddy!" Said Ed. He stepped on the flame, and Phoebe moaned in pain.

"YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET THAT!" Shouted Phoebe, and she started growing into a very large and very dangerous flaming monster. She shot flames at the Eds, and they started taking their clothes off, except for their underwear and Double D's hat. Phoebe surrounded them with a wall of fire, trapping the Eds.

"Looks like our goose is cooked, boys." Said Eddy.

"Can I tell you something, guys?" Asked Double D.

"What is it, Double D?" Asked Ed.

"Under my hat is a..." Suddenly, the Eds got covered in goo; It was Stinkfly, one of Ben 10's aliens! He shot gunk at Phoebe, distracting her and thus turning off the flames momentarily. Stinkfly grabbed the Eds and started flying back to home base.

"Buzz bug with wings that flies!" Said Ed.

"I think it might be closer to an antlion, Ed." Said Double D.

"You're both wrong!" Said Stinkfly. "It's me, Ben Tennyson! Stinkfly is one of my many alien forms."

"Then how come we haven't seen him during training?" Asked Eddy.

"I decided to keep it a surprise!" Said Stinkfly. "I'm going to drop you guys off, now!" Stinkfly dropped the Eds at the CCN home base, and they landed in cots controlled by Cow and Chicken.

"We got some more patients, Dr. Chicken!" Said Cow.

"And I got a chicken!" Said Ed, who hugged Chicken with all his might.

Stinkfly flew back to the battlefield and flew in front of Phoebe's (who was still in her monster form) face. He then turned into Humungousaur, and when he hit the ground, sent a big earthquake, causing Phoebe to fall down with a big thud. Phoebe then felt something biting and scratching her hand, and it was Wildmutt. She threw him off and Ben turned into Grey Matter, and he started running across Phoebe's shoulders.

"Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot." Ben exclaimed as he was running. He then turned into Diamondhead and sliced through Phoebe's left arm, leaving a big gash in it. She looked around to find the alien, but only to see Ripjaws on her right arm.

"Hey, Phoebe!" He said. "Fish face!" Ben then noticed something on her chest: It was a diamond, and maybe removing it could kill the Flame Queen. Ben then turned into XLR8 to run towards her chest, turned into Four Arms to pull the gemstone out, and back into XLR8 to run away as fast as he could. When he pulled the gem out, Phoebe started bleeding magma, and she slowly shrank back to her original form. However, this didn't go unnoticed by Carrie. She flew towards XLR8 and possessed him. The alien started running towards Phoebe, but Ben didn't want to. He turned into Ghostfreak and was freed from Carrie.

"Out of the way, Gozer!" He said.

"Do you have any idea what you're doing?" Asked Carrie. "The gem you are holding is the life source of Phoebe Flame."

"What about her?" Asked Ben, who changed back to his original human form.

"Without that gem, she will die!" Said Carrie. "Her father is a power-hungry tyrant. Is she dies, the Flame King will take over and make the Fire Kingdom miserable. Phoebe is the only one of her kind who learned how to control her powers and use them for good and not evil. Do you want that to happen?" It took a while for Ben to consider.

"Wow." He said. "I never thought of putting that into consideration. I guess I have to do the right thing. But can I still state that I won the fight?"

"If you say so." Said Carrie. Ben turned back into XLR8, ran towards the Flame Queen, and placed Phoebe's gemstone back in her chest. She started regaining consciousness, and it surprised her when she saw who was by her side. It was Ben Tennyson in his human form.

"Aren't you the one who tried to kill me?" She asked.

"Yes I am." Said Ben. "But I was convinced by a ghost that without you, your kingdom would parish under the control of your tyrannical father."

"Carrie told you that?" She asked.

"Yes, she did." Said Ben. "Though it's crazy to believe. Can we make a truce?"

"Yes we may." Said Phoebe. Ben then turned into Heatblast and shook hands with Phoebe.

Author's Note: The fight between Phoebe and Ben is heavily influenced by the fight between Maui and Te Ka in Moana.

The Great Toon War Chapter 10

WARNING! This is when the fights start getting more intense and a tad violent.
"Next up," Said Madame Foster once again through a megaphone. "Plank vs. Alan!" Jonny threw plank forwards, and Alan floated towards the wooden board. The newer Cartoon Network characters couldn't help but laugh their heads off.

"What's that, Plank?" Jonny asked his best friend. "Want me to clap twice? And you need your cape? Okay!" He threw out a picnic blanket and clapped his hands twice. Plank then turned into Super Plank!

"Tra la la!!!" He shouted triumphantly. He then looked at Alan. "Are you one of the replacement friends the Eds made and overwhelmed Jonny?"

"No." Said the balloon. "My name is Alan Keane. I am a balloon that wants to make the world a better place."

"Don't listen to him!" Shouted Gumball. "He wants to take over the world and eliminate negative emotions, even when we need them!"

"Do you really mean that?" Asked Plank, grabbing Alan by the string.

"Well...." Alan stammered. "I think Tina, Carrie, and Jamie need to smile once in a while. And maybe that distorted CG Cyclops who wants to kill Gumball."

"Does that mean you're secretly evil?" Asked Plank, deflating Alan by loosening his knot.

"Yes!" Pleaded Alan. "I have this innocent and positive nature to his my true personality: A criminal mastermind! Please don't shoot splinters at me!"

"Okay, citizen." Said Plank. "I'll let you go." He inflated Alan back to his regular size, but then he popped him with one of his splinters.

"I hate being a balloon." Muttered Alan.

"Next up," Said Madame Foster once again through a megaphone. "Dee Dee vs. Jake the Dog!" The girl and the magic dog started walking towards each other.

"How did the Scottish terrier feel when he saw a monster?" Asked Dee Dee.

"Oh no." Said Jake. "Not another lame dog joke." Dee-Dee then drank a monster serum and turned into a massive 250-foot-tall spider/hominid monster with grey fur, eight long spider-like legs with pink nails on the tips, yellow eyes, and a lizard-like tongue.

"TERRIER-FIED!" She shouted.

"Well, I have something to tell you, Spider Legs!" Said Jake. "I am a magic dog!" He then stretched around Dee Dee's legs and wrapped around them like a snake.

"I have another riddle for you, doggie." Said Dee Dee. "What do you call a dachshund on fire?"

"I don't know." Said Jake. Suddenly, Dee Dee's fist was starting to ignite.

"A hot dog!" Before she could punch Jake's face, Connie ran towards the monster and stabbed Dee Dee's hand with her sword. Dee Dee howled in pain, clutching onto her injured hand. Jake then unraveled himself, and Dee Dee fell to the ground.

"Thank you." Said Jake.

"You're welcome." Said Connie. "But Marceline will take care of this beast." Dee Dee felt insulted by Connie's words.

"Who are you calling a beast?!" She shouted. Then, a large bat flew by and pulled on Dee Dee's fur.

"Ack!" Shouted Dee Dee. "You were pulling on my unicorn fur!" The bat flew to Jake and Connie and turned back into her normal form. It was Marceline.

"Girls hate it when you mess with their hair." She said. "I did that to Bonnibel once and she was mad at me for a week." Jake and Connie were stunned at what Marceline just said. "Don't worry so much, guys. Like Connie said, I can take care of this monster." Connie then rode on Jake, and the two of them headed back to the MCN home base.

"What kind of dog would Dracula have?" Asked Dee Dee. "A bloodhound! Ha ha ha ha!" Marceline turned into a bat again and flew towards the back of Dee Dee's head.

"I'm not going to fall for that, again!" Said Dee Dee, and she grabbed Marceline. She then turned into a tentacle monster and started strangling Dee Dee. Jake came back and once again wrapped himself around Dee Dee's legs. Marceline then turned into a 40-foot-tall bat and pinned Dee Dee to the ground. Marceline then stuck her fangs into Dee Dee's shoulder and sucked out some of Dee Dee's blood. Both of them then reverted to their normal forms. Cow and Chicken then appeared, put Dee Dee on a cot, and headed back to the MCN home base.
Author's Notes: Plank saying 'Tra la la' is an obvious nod to Captain Underpants (both the movie and the books).
The situation Plank explains was from the Ed, Edd n Eddy episode 'Dear Ed', in which Jonny and Plank have an argument and Jonny needs a new best friend. Near the end of the episode, Jonny gets invited to a party with many objects with faces drawn on them. However, it overwhelmed Jonny a little.

In the end, however, Jonny and Plank make up and are best friends again.
The plan Gumball mentions in this chapter is from the Amazing World of Gumball episode 'The Vision'.
While Marceline (from Adventure Time) is a vampire, she has many supernatural powers and traits you wouldn't find in your average vampire. She is able to transform into numerous monsters, including one with tentacles!

The 'distorted CG Cyclops' that Alan mentions is yet another Amazing World of Gumball character, Rob (not to be confused with Bobert). He's a bit similar to Sideshowo Bob from The Simpsons, except maybe not as memorable.

"Next up," Said Madame Foster through a megaphone. "Billy vs. Banana Joe!" The huge-nosed boy and the Googley-eyed banana started running towards each other with their weapons in their hands. Banana Joe swung his light saber and cut Billy in half. However, he didn't mind; In fact, he laughed hysterically, and Banana Joe started laughing, too.

"Next up," Said Madame Foster through a megaphone. "Chowder vs. Richard Watterson!" The imaginary Chowder Goo created and Richard Watterson walked to a table, and Larry was there.

"Welcome to Joyful Burger's Hundred-Burger Feast!" Larry began. "Whoever can eat 100 Joyful Burgers in 30 minutes will not only win this challenge, but also get a free pass to every restaurant in Elmore for five years! On your mark, get set, go!" Chowder started sucking the burgers in like a vacuum cleaner, while Richard was stuffing them into his mouth one by one. After 30 minutes passed, Chowder finished off every burger, while Richard was starting to get sick. Larry then walked over to the table to choose the victor.

"And the winner is..." He said. "Chowder!" He held up Chowder's arm in victory.

"Aww." Said Richard. "If only I had a bigger stomach."

"Next up," Said Madame Foster through a megaphone. "The Grim Reaper vs. Steven Universe!" The skeleton and half-gem started walking towards each other. Grim started laughing at Steven.

"What are you going to do to me?" Asked Grim. "Distract me with your pierced Quartz? Ha ha ha ha ha!" Grim then got out his scythe and was about to cut off Steven's head, but Steven got out his shield. After Grim swung his scythe a few times, the shield broke. Steven then cased himself in a bubble. Grim tried to break the bubble with his scythe, but it was no use.

"You can't stay in there forever!" Said Grim. Steven then rammed Grim over with the invincible bubble and tried to find Connie. Instead, he ran over Penny Fitzgerald by mistake. Steven turned off his bubble and started talking to Penny.

"Sorry, Penny!" Said Steven.

"It's fine." Said Penny. "Why are you in such a hurry?"

"I need to find Connie!" Said Steven. "I need her help, since she's good with a sword, and I'm good with a shield. Could you help us buy us some time by fighting the Grim Reaper?"

"I will." Said Penny. "But I want you to do me a favor: In case I die, tell Gumball that I would marry him, even if he is a bit crazy."

"I'll try my best." Said Steven, and he ran back to the MCN home base. Penny then turned into a bat with antlers and flew to where Grim was.

Meanwhile, Grim was finishing on putting himself back together again. Suddenly, he heard something: It was not Steven, but Penny Fitzgerald.

"What are you supposed to be?" Grim asked.

"I am Penny Fitzgerald." Said the fairy. "And I am going to stop you from your evil doings."

"You really think just because I have a Jamaican accent and a black robe automatically makes me evil?" Grim asked. "After living with two different children for over a decade, their culture has been rubbing off of me. As a result, I can't kill them. But I can kill you!" He swung his scythe at Penny and cut her head off. Grim laughed maniacally again, but then, Penny's body started becoming larger, turned green, sprouted four dinosaur-like legs, and a long tail. Also, the head rolled back into the main body and split into three. Penny transformed into a hydra.

"Oh no." Said Grim. "Not a hydra. Why did I have to live for thousands of years and know so much? Everyone knows that if you cut off a hydra's head, two more come out!"

"Do you have a problem with that, dry bones?" Asked Penny's heads.

"Well," Grim stammered. "No. It's just that it's my only weapon. The only other choice is Horror's Hand, but I placed in my forbidden trunk, and it's all it's all the way back in Tujunga, and..."

"Enough chattering, bone bag." Said a voice. It was Stevonnie, Steven and Connie fused together. "Penny, I will handle this, but you are welcome to watch."

"Who are you?" Asked Grim.

"I am Stevonnie Masewaren Universe of Beach City." Said the fusion. "I am a Crystal Gem, and I demand you to put down your scythe!"

"Like I would do that." Said Grim. "My scythe needs me."

"Then you leave me no other choice." Said Stevonnie. "I have to fight you." Stevonnie lashed their sword towards Grim, and a couple bones fell off. Grim then took a swing with his scythe, but Stevonnie stealthily dodged it. They then aimed for the arms, and Stevonnie swung the sword at Grim's hands. Grim then picked up his scythe with his toes. While he was picking up the scythe, Stevonnie attacked from behind and lunged at Grim's chest, leaving a hole in his robe.

"Look what you've done!" Said Grim. "This has been my family's robe for 10,000 years!"

"Guess it isn't your lucky day." Said a familiar voice. When Grim looked behind him, Penny was a rhinoceros with antlers. While Grim was staring at the fairy, Stevonnie grabbed the scythe and trapped it in a large cube-shaped bubble. Lion then appeared, Stevonnie jumped onto the magical wildcat, and headed back to the MCN home base.

"Why does this always have to happen to me?" Grim asked himself, and Penny charged through the skeleton and broke him.
Author's Notes: Stevonnie's introduction is heavily influenced by this quote from Moana.

Larry is a character in The Amazing World of Gumball who runs almost every single job in Elmore, where the show takes place.


Horror's Hand was an item in Billy and Mandy that would show the finder its worst fear. It was featured in the TV movie 'Billy and Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure'.
Grim had a secret trunk in Billy's basement in Billy and Mandy. It contained all sorts of supernatural items. Because Billy was so stupid, he would go in there without Grim's permission and cause mischief by accident.

The Great Toon War Chapter 8

After four long weeks of training, both the old and new Cartoon Network characters went on two different airplanes from California to Tristan da Cunha. It took nearly eleven hours to get there. However, because Tina and Hector were so big, they had to go by boat, which took a little longer. The PowerPuff Girls, however, flew to Tristan da Cunha in five minutes. Ben turned into Ripjaws and swam great lengths to get to Tristan da Cunha. Since dangerous weapons are not allowed to bring on an airplane, Grim carried Jack's sword and the Chicken Ball and opened a portal to Tristan da Cunha with his scythe. Steven's Lion also did something similar: He opened a portal for the Crystal Gems (minus Steven), Phoebe Flame, and Bobert, as well as Rose's scabbard, two of Finn's swords, and Banana Joe's light saber, to get to Tristan da Cunha.

The next day, everyone was at a vacant battle area in Tristan da Cunha. The Classic Cartoon Network (CCN) clan was lead by Madame Foster, while the Modern Cartoon Network (MCN) clan was lead by Nicole Watterson. She and Madame Foster walked over to each other.

"Are you ready to settle this once and for all?" Asked Nicole.

"You bet it, sister!" Said Madame Foster. "Ed boys! Granny wants you to make a throne for her!" The Eds started making a crudely-built throne out of lawn chairs local to Tristan da Cunha.

"That'll do, boys." Said Madame Foster. Wilt grabbed her and put her on the top. "Let the games begin!" Everyone soon assembled to their right team and got their weapons ready.

"First up," Madame Foster shouted through a megaphone. "Dexter vs. Hector!" The short scientist and the colorful giant started approaching each other.

"My mom told me not to get into any fights." Said Hector.

"Well," Said Dexter. "My parents never really cared if I got into fights at school. Do you know what that means?"

"Not really." Said Hector.

"It means they wouldn't care if I turned into..."Dexter started drinking the monster serum and turned into a 250-foot-tall purple reptilian monster with orange plates on his back. "DEXZILLA!!!" Hector only reached Dexzilla's stomach.

"What's the matter, mouse lemur?" Dexzilla laughed. "Too scared to fight someone that might kill you? Ha ha ha ha! You may be big, but not only do I have a bigger body, I have a bigger brain! That means you're a stupid Neanderthal!" While Dexter continued laughing, Hector started getting angry.

"NOBODY CALLS ME STUPID!!!" Shouted Hector, and he climbed up Dexter's body and started punching his face.

"That was just a warm-up!" Said Dexter, and he breathed fire on Hector. The colossal ape let go of the monster and fell to the ground with a loud thud.

"Bobert!" Shouted Hector. "I need backup!" The robot turned his legs into wheels, rollerbladed to Dexter's tail, and pinched it.

"What was that?" Asked Dexter. He turned around and saw a small (or at least to him) robot pinching his tail. "Why, if it isn't an insignificant little toy! A child must be missing it."

"Initiating combat mode." Said Bobert, and he took on a Transformers-like form.

"Do your best, Buzz Lightyear!" Mocked Dexter. Bobert shot lasers into Dexter's eyes, blinding him. Bobert broke out of Dexter's grip, returned to his normal form, and flew away. Jake the Dog then appeared, shaped his feet into a hammer, and smashed Dexzilla with it. He then fell to the ground and returned to his original form. Cow and Chicken then came by and placed the unconscious Dexter on a cot.

"You have your first patient, Dr. Chicken!" Said Cow, and they headed back to the CCN home base.

Author's Note: It's actually unknown of what Hector's (the colorful giant in Gumball) actual height is. I guess it varies from episode to episode.

The next day on October 10th, the modern Cartoon Network troops started practicing their skills and fighting techniques. Finn started testing his new sword, which is a bit like a fencing sword, on Anton, a piece of toast. Thankfully, because Anton gets killed nearly every day, his parents know how to make a new Anton with a toaster. Finn would also practice on a Holo-Pearl, since he knew his opponent was going to use a sword as well.

Marceline and Flame Princess were fighting video game characters from BMO, such as Bouncy Bee, Honey Bunny, Sleepy Sam, and, from a completely different video game, a blue thug named the Hammer.

Jake the Dog and Penny Fitzgerald were fighting each other, since both of them were capable of changing their shape. Since Jake could take on almost any shape and size, he seemed to have the upper hand.

Darwin and Anias were trying to repair Finn's Demon Sword, which broke a couple years ago. They wanted to fix it in case anyone needs an extra sword.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Gems were talking to Steven to see if he was ready to fuse into Obsidian, the fabled 'temple fusion'.

"Are you confident about this, Steven?" Connie asked.

"Of course, I am." Said Steven. "During the summer, we managed to train Lapis, Peridot, and Lars to be Substitute Crystal Gems. We also freed Bismuth so she could be a Crystal Gem, too! I also managed to form fusions with Ruby, Sapphire, Pearl, Garnet, and even Opal! But not all at the same time."

"Do you really think you're ready, Steven?" Asked Pearl.

"I know so." Answered Steven with confidence. He, Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst started performing an elaborate dance. Luckily, Steven has been practicing a lot this summer on fusion dances. After their dance was over, a large ball of light engulfed the Gems. After 45 seconds, a 150-foot tall eight-armed woman was formed. She had pink skin, blue and purple hair, a yellow 'mask' with Pearl's gem on it, four eyes, each a different color, an outfit reminiscent of Wonder Woman, and long strong legs. She was Obsidian 2.0.

"Who are we?" Asked Steven's voice from the main face.

"We have formed Obsidian." Said Garnet's voice, coming from the mask. "We are the same fusion that saved Dewey's ship crew over 300 years ago."

"You mean that we're the same fusion that was represented in the play?" Asked Steven's voice.

"Of course we are!" Said Amethyst's voice, also coming from the mask. "Sugilite was too bloodthirsty, Alexandrite would scare the daylights out of everyone, Sardonyx would act snobby, and the other fusions are too small." Obsidian started looking at themselves in wonder, though the arms were a bit out of proportion. Other than that, they looked perfect.

"Congratulations, Steven." Said Pearl's voice, also coming from the mask. "You are a true Crystal Gem. Your mom would be very proud."

"I just have one little suggestion." Said Steven's voice. "Could we change our name to Angel Aura Quartz? I think it fits us better."

"You really think so?" Asked Pearl's voice. Obsidian then looked at a reflection in a local water reserve and saw what they looked like with Steven instead of Rose. "Wow, Steven! We look adorable! Angel Aura Quartz it is! What made you want to change the name, though?"

"In December of 2016," Steven's voice began. "Connie and I were looking at a book on Gemstones. We were wondering what Gemstone the fabled 'Temple Fusion' would be. Since me and Amethyst formed Smokey Quartz, and you and I, as well as mom, formed Rainbow Quartz, so it would only make sense that the Temple Fusion's name would be Quartz as well."

"That's very clever, Steven!" Said Pearl's voice. "How about we unfuse, now? I always said Gem fusions should only be used for emergencies only, didn't I?" The four of them then unfused back into Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven. Everyone else starred at the Gems and half-Gem in awe.

"How did you do that?" Asked Finn.

"I get it from my mom." Answered Steven. "She was a war veteran."
Author's Notes: In The Amazing World of Gumball, Anton, a piece of toast, would get killed on a regular basis. In the episode 'The Recipe', it is revealed that Anton's parents, who are also toast, made a new Anton by putting a new slice of bread in the toaster and setting the dial to a certain number.
For those not keeping up with Adventure Time, the Demon Sword was given to Finn on his 14th birthday. It was a sword made out of demon's blood. It's honestly rather difficult to explain, so here's a helpful link below.

Bouncy Bee, Honey Bunny, and Sleepy Sam are all from the Adventure Time episode 'Guardians of Sunshine', while the Hammer was from the Regular Show episode 'Rage Against the TV'.


The Hammer is the final boss of an unnamed video game in Regular Show reminiscent of the 80s video game Double Dragon. 
For those not keeping up with Gumball, Penny is actually not a peanut, but a fairy who can transform into any animal, but still retain her antlers. When the show first premiered in May 2011, she looked like this.

However, starting with the Season 3 episode 'The Shell', which aired October 2014, her shell cracked, and her true form was revealed. Penny felt she looked hideous, but Gumball still loved her for who she truly was. She now looks like this.
 
The fabled Temple Fusion, officially called Obsidian, was a fusion of Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Rose, who was said to have saved the settlers of Beach City many years ago, as depicted and referenced in the Steven Universe episode 'Historical Friction'. Since then, there has been a lot of headcanon fan art of  what the 'Temple Fusion' would look like. There have even been interpretations of what the Temple Fusion would look like with Steven instead of Rose. This incarnation, named Angel Aura Quartz, in this story actually belongs to someone else: She goes by the name of Sketcha-Doodle, and her art can be found on these websites.
