Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 11

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 11

The next morning, Gulliver was on a rock about to eat a Krabby, but was interrupted by a flock of Pidove.
"Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!" They said.
"Will you just shut up?!" Shouted Gulliver. "You Rattatas with wings!" Unbeknownst to him, three other Pelipper were talking about Marlon.
"Bloke's been looking for his boy Rakki." One of them said.
"Rakki?" Asked Gulliver. He threw the Krabby at the Pidove flock so they'll get distracted. "Say that again! Something about Rakki."
"Some divers took him away." Said another Pelipper.
"Last I've heard," Said another Pelipper. "He's heading towards Slateport Harbor.
"Ho ho! Brilliant!" Said Gulliver, and he flew off to tell Rakki himself about Marlon's journey.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Back in the tank, everyone was upset that they couldn't get Rakki out of the tank. Rakki was resting on a piece of coral with a depressed look. Baburu, Bloat, Redeye, and Tate swam over to check up on him.
"Is he doing okay?" Asked Tate.
"Whatever you do," Said Redeye. "Don't mention K-I-K..."
"It's okay." Said Rakki. "I know who you're talking about." Bloat slapped Redeye with his tail. The Luvdisc swam over to Yasei and saw him inside the Cloyster shell.
"Yasei?" Rakki asked.
"Hey, Sharpedo Bait." Said Yasei. Rakki decided to apologize for what happened yesterday.
"I'm sorry I couldn't stop the..." Yasei interrupted Rakki's apology.
"No, kid." Said the Alomomola. "I'm the one who should be sorry. I was so ready to get out, so ready to taste that ocean. I was willing to put you in harm's way to get there. Nothing should be worth that. I'm sorry I couldn't get you back to your father, kid." Suddenly, there was a thud: Gulliver hit the glass window, scaring May's Raichu.
"What's the matter, Raichu?" May asked the Mouse Pokémon. It pointed to the window using its tail. "Those darn kids. At least it wasn't an Arbok!" Gulliver then appeared and started talking to the fish Pokémon.
"Where's Rakki?" Asked the Pelipper. "I need to speak to him." Rikki then swam over upon hearing his name.
"What is it?" Asked Rakki.
"Your dad's been fighting the entire ocean looking for you." Said Gulliver.
"My father?" Asked Rakki. "Really?"
"He's traveled hundreds of miles," Said Gulliver. "Battling Sharpedos and Jellicent and..."
"Sharpedos?" Interrupted Rakki. "That can't be him."
"Are you sure?" Asked Gulliver. "What was his name? Named after a Gym Leader. Brock? Falkner?"
"Marlon?" Asked Rakki.
"That's it!" Said Gulliver. "The little Luvdisc from Kalos."
"It's my dad!" Said Rakki with delight. He took on a Sharpedo!"
"I heard he also took on a Huntail and a Samurott." Said the Pelipper.
"Three predators?" Said Yasei in disbelief.
"That's gotta be 21 dozen teeth!" Commented Bloat.
"You see kid," Gulliver explained. "After you were taken by Diver Dana over there, you dad followed the boat like a maniac. He's swimming and swimming, giving it all he's got, and then three large predators capture him and blows them up and dives thousands of feet and gets chased by a monster with huge teeth! He ties it to a rock, and what's his reward? He gets to battle an entire Jellicent Forest! Now he's with a bunch of Blastoise on the West Hoenn Current and he's on his way right now to Slateport!"
"What a good daddy!" Said Tate.
"He was looking for you after all, Sharpedo Bait." Said Yasei. However, when he looked, Rakki grabbed a pebble with his mouth and swam into the filter! The tank fish were afraid that he would be in danger again, so they grabbed a piece of fake seaweed and stuck it up the tube. Suddenly, they heard a clank.
"Sharpedo Bait!" They shouted, and they swam towards the filter to see if they could speak to him.
"Can you hear me, Sharpedo Bait?" Asked Yasei.
""Yeah, I can hear you." Said Rakki, who was now right behind them safe and sound.
"Sharpedo Bait, you did it!" Cheered Yasei. "That took guts, kid." The fish Pokémon all knew what they had to do now.
"All right, gang." Said Yasei. "We have less than 48 hours until Kiki gets here. This tank will get plenty dirty in that time, but we need to help it along any way we can. Arnaldo? No cleaning."
"I shall resist." Said the Anorith.
"Everyone else," Continued Yasei. "Be as gross as possible. Think dirty thoughts. We're gonna make this tank so filthy that May will have to clean it." Bloat gave out a belch, and Rakki laughed.
"Good work." Said Yasei.

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 10

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 10

Meanwhile, Marlon was on the back of a Blastoise.
"Dude." Said the turtle Pokémon. "Dude. Focus, dude." Marlon opened his eyes. "He lives, hey dude!"
"What happened?" Asked an exhausted Marlon.
"Saw the whole thing, dude." Said the Blastoise. "First, you were all, like, 'Whoa!', and then we were all, like, 'Whoa!', and then you were, like 'Whoa'."
"What are you talking about?" Asked Marlon.
"You, heart man." Said Sam, the Blastoise. "Taking on the jellies. You got serious thrill issues, dude."
"Mr. Blastoise?" Asked Marlon.
"Whoa, dude." Interrupted the Blastoise. "Mr. Blastoise is my father. The name's Sam."
"Sam? Really?" Asked Marlon. "Okay, Sam. I need to get to the West Hoenn Current. WHC?"
"Oh, dude." Laughed Sam. "You're riding it, dude! Check it out!" Marlon looked behind him and saw lots of Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise. He, and possibly Waseri, were now in the WHC.
"Grab a shell, dude!" Said Sam.
"Grab wh-a-a-at?!" Asked Marlon, as the two went through the WHC like a roller coaster. Sam then decided to ask Marlon a question.
"So," Started Sam. "What brings you on this fine day to the WHC?"
"Waseri and I need to get to Slateport." Answered Marlon. Suddenly, something donned on him. "Waseri! Is she alright?"
"You mean Seaqueen?" Said Sam. "She is sub-level, dude." He pointed to another Blastoise that had Waseri resting, and her Jellicent sting was visible. Marlon swam down to see if she was alright.
"Waseri." He said. "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. It's my fault." Suddenly, Waseri woke up, and she was okay! She swam to another Blastoise and found six Squirtle, who then started chasing her. Marlon saw all the Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise having fun playing with each other. However, one Blastoise had a Squirtle in its cannon, and it launched the Tiny Turtle Pokémon out of the WHC!
"Oh, my goodness!" Said Marlon. He was about to go save the Squirtle, but then Sam stopped him.
"Kill the motor, dude." He said. "Let's see what Squirt does flying solo." Squirt returned to the Blasoise family and swam back to his father.
"Whoa!" Said Squirt. "That was so cool! Hey, dad, did you see that? Did you see what I did?"
"That was totally awesome, Squirt!" Said Sam. "Now give me some fist." He gave Sam a fist-pump. "Noggin." They head-butted each other. "Dude." Sam then remembered about Marlon.
"Oh, intro." The Blastoise started. "Jelly Man, offspring. Offspring, Jelly Man."
"Jellies?" Asked Squirt. "Sweet."
"Totally." Said Sam.
"Apparently, I must've done something you all liked...dudes." Replied Marlon.
"You rock, dude." Said Squirt, bonking Marlon on the head. Squirt then went back to playing with his friends.
"Curl away, my son." Said Sam. "It's awesome, Jelly Man. The little dudes and dudettes are just eggs. We leave them on the beach to hatch. And then coo-coo-cachoo, they find their way back to the big old blue."
"All by themselves?" Asked Marlon.
"Yeah." Replied Sam.
"But, dude," Asked Marlon. "How do you know when they're ready?"
"Well, you never really know." Answered Sam. "But when they know, you'll know, you know? Ha." Waseri, along with the six Squirtle, then spotted the Luvdisc.
"Hey, look, everybody." Said Waseri.
"I know that dude." Said Squirt, who was one of the Squirtle Waseri was playing with. "It's the Jelly Man!"
"Well, go on." Said Waseri. "Jump on him!" The Squirtle kids then did a 'Squirtle pile' on Marlon. They then started bombarding him with questions.
"Are you funny?"
"Where's your shell?"
"Do your spots come off?"
"Did you really cross the Jellicent forest?"
"Mr. Fish, did you die?"
"Sorry." Said Waseri. "I was a little vague on the details."
"So, where are you going?" Asked Squirt.
"You see, my son was taken away from me." Said Marlon. The Squirtle children awed in amazement.
"No way." Said Waseri.
"What happened?" Asked another Squirtle.
"No, no, kids." Said Marlon. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Aww, please?" Begged the Squirtle kids.
"Well, okay." Began Marlon. "I live on this reef a long, long way from here."
"Oh boy." Said Waseri. "This is gonna be good. I can tell."
"And my son, Rakki," Marlon continued. "He was mad at me. And maybe he hadn't done it, if I hadn't been so rough on him. I don't know. Anyway, he swam into the open water and when he was out there, these divers appeared, and I tried to stop them, but the boat was too fast. So, we swam out in the ocean to follow them..."
---------------------------------------
A Wartortle from the colony was telling the story to three Blue-Striped Basculin.
"They couldn't stop 'em." Said the Turtle Pokémon. "And then Rakki's dad, he swims out to the ocean...."
-----------------------------------------------------
A Barboach was telling the story to a Relicanth.
"And they bump into a Sharpedo, a Samurott, and a Huntail." Said the Barboach with a deep voice. "He scares them away by blowing them up!"
"Golly, that's amazing." Said the Relicanth with a squeaky voice.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
A Golisopod was telling other Golisopods about the story.
"And then he dives thousands of feet straight down into the dark." Said the Golisopod. "It's wicked dark down there. You can't see a thing."
----------------------------------------------------------------
Two Kabutops were fighting each other with their scythes.
"And the only thing they would see down there was the light of this big, horrible creature with razor-sharp teeth." Said one of the Kabutops. "Have you been fighting a Dragon-Type lately? And then he has to blast his way..."
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Two Lapras were swimming on the surface of the water, talking about Marlin.
"So these two little fish have been," Said a Lapras. "Searching the ocean for days on the West Hoenn Current."
------------------------------------------------
A flock of Pelipper overheard the Transport Pokémon and started taking about the brave Luvdisc.
"Which means that he could be on his way here right now." Said a Pelipper. "That should put them in Slateport Harbor in a matter of days! It sounds like nothing can stop this guy until he finds his son."
"I sure hope he makes it." Said another Pelipper.
"That's one dedicated father, if you ask me." Said a third Pelipper.
Author's Note: Sam is named after a Squirtle I had in Fire Red and Leaf Green: Salty Sam.
I know that Kabutops is canonically extinct in the games, but I couldn't think of any other Water-Type Pokemon (aside from Samurott, which I already used) that would do well in a fencing competition.

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 9

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 9

Back at Slateport, Rakki was looking out of a window. Yasei swam over to talk to Rakki.
"You miss your dad, don't you Sharpedo Bait?" Yasei asked Rakki.
"Yeah." Answered Rakki.
"You're lucky to have someone out there looking for you." Said Yasei.
"He's not looking for me." Said Rakki. "He's scared of the ocean." Yasei then looked at Ruby.
"Ruby, what's the report?" He asked.
"It seems that May is teaching a boy about TMs and HMs." Said the Starmie. "That's a good sign." Rikki couldn't help but look at Yasei's damaged dorsal fins.
"My first escape- landed on a table." He told Rikki. "I was aiming for the toilet."
"The toilet?" Asked Rakki.
"All drains lead to the ocean, kid." Said Yasei.
"Wow." Replied Rakki. "How many times have you tried to get out?"
"Lost count." Replied Yasei. He and Rikki started swimming over to the filter. "Fish aren't meant to be in a box, kid. It does things to you." Ruby then updated the report about May.
"They're going upstairs for a TM lesson!" She said. "We have 6 to 10 minutes!"
"That's your cue, Sharpedo Bait." Yasei told Rakki.
"You can do it, kid." Said Bloat.
"Okay, you gotta be quick." Yasei told Rikki. "Once you get in, swim to the bottom of the chamber, and I'll talk you through the rest."
"Okay." Said Rakki with an unsure tone.
"Come on, kid." Said Yasei. "It'll be a piece of Poffin." Rakki then jumped into the filter. "Can you hear me?"
"Yeah!" Said Rakki.
"Here comes the pebble." Said Yasei, throwing a pebble into the filter, and Rakki caught it.
"Now, do you see a small opening?" Asked Yasei.
"Uh-huh!" Said Rakki.
"Inside it," Yasei continued. "You'll see a rotating fan. Very carefully wedge the pebble into the fan to stop it turning." Rakki tried to wedge the pebble in the fan, but it was too dangerous.
"Careful, Sharpedo Bait!" Said Yasei.
"I can't do it!" Said Rikki.
"Yasei, this isn't a good idea." Said Ruby.
"He'll be fine." Said Yasei. "Try again!"
"Okay." Said a nervous Rakki. He wedged the pebble inside the fan, and it actually worked! "I got it! I got it!"
"That's great, kid!" Said Yasei. "Now swim up the tube and out." Rakki went inside the tube, but the pebble budged so slightly. While Rakki was swimming out the tube, the pebble gave in, and the fan resumed spinning, sucking in Rakki.
"Yasei! Yasei!" He shouted.
"Sharpedo Bait!" Said Yasei.
"Oh my gosh!" Exclaimed Bloat.
"Get him out of there!" Said Redeye.
"Help him!" Said Baburu. "What do we do? What do we do?" Yasei took a piece of fake seaweed and stuffed it into the tube. Ruby, Baburu, Redeye, Bloat, and Tate joined along to help.
"Stay calm, kid." Said Yasei. "Just don't panic! Grab hold of the seaweed!" Rakki grabbed a leaf with his teeth, but it fell off and got shredded by the fan.
"No, no, no!" Pleaded Rakki.
"Grab me more!" Order Yasei.
"But that's all there is!" Said Redeye.
"Sharpedo Bait!" Said Yasei. "Grab it!" The Luvdisc held onto the seaweed with his jaws, and the six other Water-Type Pokémon pulled the seaweed out, with Rakki still holding the end. When they finally pulled him out, they all collapsed.
"Yasei," Pleaded Ruby. "Don't make him go back in there."
"No." Said Yasei. "We're done."
Author's Notes: Poffins are items in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl that are used to help Pokemon in contests.

TMs and HMs, which are exclusive to the games, are CD-shaped items that can teach a Pokemon cool moves.
Image result for Pokemon TMs and HMs
TMs, up until Generation 5, are single-use, while HMs can be used over and over. However, once a Pokemon learns an HM move, it cannot be forgotten by a Pokemon (which can only learn up to four moves in the games) except for certain circumstances.

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 8

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 8

The next morning, Marlon and Waseri encountered a school of Wishiwashi. However, because Waseri kept repeating 'M. Shinkai 134 Zigzagoon Way Slateport', the Wishiwashi school kept swimming off.
"Okay, all right." Marlon said to Waseri.
"Uh-huh." Said Waseri. She was ready to listen.
"Here's the thing." Marlon began. "I think it's best if I carry on from here by myself."
"Okay."
"You know, alone."
"Uh-huh."
"Without... I mean, not without you. But I don't want you... With me."
"Huh?"
"Am I making you uncomfortable? Because I don't want to hurt your feelings."
"You want me to leave?"
"I mean, not... Yes. I just can't afford any more delays, and you're one of those fish that can cause delays. Sometimes it's a good thing. There's a whole group of fish. They're delay fish." Waseri then started to cry.
"You mean... You don't like me?" She whimpered.
"No, of course I like you." Said Marlon. "It's because I like you I don't want to be with you. It's a complicated emotion." The school of Wishiwashi heard the Seaking's crying, they rushed to her aid.
"Hey, you! Lady, is this guy bothering you?" Asked the head Wishiwashi.
"I don't remember." Replied Waseri. "Were you?"
"No," Said Marlon. "We were just..."
"Look, pal. We're talking to the lady, not you!" Snapped the Small Fry Pokémon. "Hey, hey. You like impressions?"
"Mm-hmm." Replied Waseri, wiping tears off her face.
"Just like in rehearsals, gentleman." Said the head Wishiwashi. The Pokemon then started changing places in the school to look like a different Pokémon. They took on the silhouette of a Gorebyss.
"Ooh, I've seen one of those!" Said Waseri.
"Come on, take a guess!" Said the head Wishiwashi. "I'm a fish with a nose like a needle."
"It's a Gorebyss!" Said Marlon. The Wishiwashi were upset upon hearing that.
"C'mon. Let the lady guess." Said the head Wishiwashi. They then took on the silhouette of a Crawdaunt. "Where's the butter?"
"It's on the tip of my tongue." Said Waseri.
"Crawdaunt!" Coughed Marlon.
"Saw that." Said the head Wishiwashi. The school then regrouped and took the silhouette of an Octillary. "Lots of legs. Lives in Johto."
"Shellder." Said Waseri.
"Close enough." Said the head Wishiwashi. The school then regrouped and took the silhouette of the SS Anne and started whistling a familiar tune.
"They're good." Said Waseri. Marlon started getting sick of their impressions.
"Will somebody please give me directions?" He asked. Upon hearing that, the sardine Pokemon took on the silhouette of a Luvdisc and starting mocking Marlon.
"Will somebody please give me directions?" They mocked.
"I'm serious!"
"Blah blah blah. Me me blah. Blah blah blah blah me me me." Marlon  swam away with an unpleasant look on his face. Waseri followed Marlon to see if she could help.
"Hey, what's the matter?" She asked.
"What's the matter?" Replied Marlon. "While they're doing their silly little impressions, I'm miles from home with a fish who can't even remember her own name!"
"I bet that's frustrating." Said Waseri.
"Yeah." Said Marlon. "Meanwhile, my son is out there."
"Your son Mickey?"
"Rakki."
"Right."
"But it doesn't matter because no fish in this entire ocean is gonna help me."
"Well, I'm helping you." Said Waseri. "Wait right here." She swam towards the Wishiwashi school to see if they knew any directions.
"Is he bothering you, again?" Asked the head Wishiwashi.
"No, no." Said Waseri. "He's a good guy. Go easy on him. He's lost his son Nicky. Any of you heard of M. Shinkai 134 Zigzagoon Way Slateport?"
"Slateport?!" Said the head Wishiwashi. "Why, Ted's got relatives in Slateport. Don't you, Ted?"
"Sure do!" Said Ted.
"Hey!" Waseri said to Marlon. "They know Slateport!" Upon hearing that, Marlon swam to the school to hear the important information.
"You wouldn't know how to get there, would you?" She asked the school.
"You want to follow the WHC." Said the head Wishiwashi. "That's short for 'West Hoenn Currant." The school then formed two zig-zag lines. "Big current. Can't miss it." They then formed an arrow pointing left. "It's in that direction. And then you follow that for about, I don't know? Three leagues? That little baby will put you right past Slateport."
"Great!" Said Marlon. "Waseri, you did it."
"Oh, please." Said Waseri. "I'm just your little helper helping along."
"Fellas, thank you." Marlon said to the Wishiwashi school.
"Don't mention it!" Said the head Wishiwashi. They then formed a picture of a Luvdisc with a happy face. "Just loosen up, okay, buddy?"
"Guys, you nailed him." Said Waseri. "Bye."
"One more thing." Said the head Wishiwashi. They formed two columns. "When you come to this trench, swim through it, not over it.
"Trench. Through it. Not over it." Repeated Waseri. "I'll remember. Hey! Hey!" She swam off to catch up with Marlon and tell him the advice.
--------------------------------------------------
Waseri met up with Marlon at a trench.
"Wait, wait!" She said. "I gotta tell you something." Suddenly, she noticed the trench in front of them. "Whoa. Nice trench. Hello!" And the voice echoed. "Okay, let's go."
"No, no." Said Marlon. "Bad trench. Come on, we'll swim over this thing." Suddenly, a bell rang in Waseri's mind.
"Whoa, partner." She said. "Little red flag going up. Something's telling me to swim through it, not over it."
"Are you looking at this thing?" Asked Marlon. "It's got death written all over it."
"I'm sorry." Said Waseri. "But I really, really, really think we should swim through."
"And I'm really, really done talking about this. Over we go."
"C'mon, trust me on this."
"Trust you?"
"Yes, trust. It's what friends do:"
"Look, something shiny!"
"Where?"
"It just swam over the trench. Come on, we'll follow it!"
"Okay!" When they made it to the top, there was nothing shiny, but Waseri did see a young Frillish.
"Hey, little guy." She said to the jellyfish Pokémon.
"And look! There's the current!" Said Marlon. "And you wanted to go through the trench."
"I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine." Declared Waseri. She started talking to the Frillish as if it were a baby, but when Waseri tried touching it, it stung her.
"Waseri, that's a Frillish!" Said Marlon, whacking the Frillish with his butt. Waseri then looked at her injured fin.
"Don't touch it." She said.
"I won't touch it." Said Marlon. "I just want to look at it."
"Hey!" Said Waseri. "How come it didn't sting you?"
"It did." Said Marlon. "But it didn't hurt as much. I'm used to these kind me of stings. I live in a Corsola. It doesn't look bad. You'll be fine. You're lucky it didn't evolve into Jellicent. Next time we see a Jellicent, we will not touch it." Suddenly, Marlon and Waseri were surrounded by Jellicent! The two hugged each other in fear.
"Don't move." Said Marlon, trying to find a way out. "This is bad, Waseri."
"Hey, watch this!" Said Waseri. She was bouncing on a Jellcent's head, but it didn't sting her. This gave Marlon an idea.
"Waseri, listen to me." He said. "I have a idea: a game."
"A game?" Asked Waseri.
"Yes." Answered Marlon.
"I love games!" Said Waseri with delight.
"Here's the game." Marlon started explaining the 'game'. "Whoever can hop the fastest out of these Jellicent wins! But here are the rules. You can't touch the tentacles. Only the tops."
"Something about tentacles." Replied Waseri. "Got it. Go!" She started hopping through the Jellicent Forest.
"It's not something about them." Said Marlon, trying to catch up with Waseri. "It's all about them!" The two were now racing through the Jellicent forest.
"We're cheating death now." Marlon said to himself. "That's what we're doing. But we're having fun at the same time. I can do this. Just be careful."
"Yeah." Said Waseri, who overheard him. "Careful that I don't win!"
"I don't think so!" Said Marlon. The two continued bouncing on the tops of Jellicent.
"Give it up, old man." She said to Marlon. "You can't fight adaptation. I was built for speed."
"The question is, Waseri, are you hungry?" Asked Marlon. "Because you are about to eat my bubbles!" Marlon sped up and made it out of the forest.
"And the Luvdisc is the winner!" He declared. "We did it! Look at us!" Marlon looked around, but there was no Waseri. He swam back into the Jellicent Forest, which had more of this Water/Ghost-Type Pokemon this time, and saw Waseri in a Jellicent's tentacles. Despite the risks, Marlon grabbed Waseri and started heading out of the Jellicent Forest.
"Am I disqualified?" Asked Waseri with a tired tone.
"No, you're doing fine!" Said Marlon. "You're actually winning! You just gotta stay awake. Where does M. Shinkai live?"
"M. Shinkai..." She said weakly. "Zigzagoon Way, Slateport..."
"That's it!" Said Marlon, who found an exit out of the Jellicent Forest. However, there were too many Jellicent, and by the time they made it out, both of them fainted.
However, they were rescued by a family of Blastoise.
Author's Note: The SS Anne was a boat the player could visit in Pokemon Red and Blue, as well as the remakes Fire Red and Leaf Green.
