My DVD Collection 5.0
Happy belated Holidays, everyone! With every Christmas comes news DVDs and Blu-Rays! Today, I'll show you my updated DVD collection!

These are movies/specials/episodes I will be watching between December 25th and January 12th. I watched Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas that night as a Christmas present. However, I DO NOT own Megamind. The copy you see here is a rental from the library.

 

The DVD at the bottom of this pile is Walt Disney Treasures: Silly Symphonies. This is actually a rare DVD, in which only 150,000 units were produced.

The Blu-Ray at the top of this pile is the underrated CGI holiday special Prep and Landing, as well as Prep and Landing 2: Naughty vs. Nice.

Once again, the black DVD case (the one below Up and above Big Hero 6) is Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The film turns 80 this year.

I now have Toy Story 2 and Beauty and the Beast at both houses.
Well, that's my DVD/Blu-Ray collection so far! On New Year's Day, I'll cover what animated movies will premiere in 2018!

Movie Review: Ferdinand

Movie Review: Ferdinand                                                                                                          12-17-17

Blue Sky Studios is actually a talented CGI studio that ranks among Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks. Unfortunately, they have a bad reputation for the never-ending Ice Age sequels that Fox (who distributes their films) forces them to make. Their last film, Ice Age 5: Collision Course, became the second worst-reviewed animated film of 2016, only behind Norm of the North. Will Blue Sky's next film, Ferdinand, redeem the studio, or will it be another disappointment like Despicable Me 3? Let's find out.

Based on the book by Munro Leaf, Ferdinand is about a Spanish bull named Ferdinand (John Cena). Ferdinand isn't like other bulls, as he feels it's wrong to fight. After running away when he was a calf, he meets a young girl named Nina (Lily Day). He grows up with Nina, but one day after creating chaos in the local city, Ferdinand gets sent back to the same farm he grew up in. With the help of a calming goat named Lupe (Kate McKinnon) and three thieving hedgehogs, Ferdinand is determined to escape and return to Nina.

If any of you animation fans and experts like me know, Disney actually did an adaptation of 'The Story of Ferdinand' many years ago back in 1938. In the wake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the Silly Symphonies, Disney made a seven minute cartoon based on Leaf's story called Ferdinand the Bull. It stuck very well to the original book while still retaining the Disney design that audiences already have been familiar with (through characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and the Three Little Pigs), and would be expected to see for generations to come. Ferdinand the Bull even won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.

Now, what did I think of Blue Sky's Ferdinand? I enjoyed it a lot, maybe even a tad more than Coco! Coming from Blue Sky, who animated animals perfectly with Rio, Horton Hears a Who, and of course, the Ice Age films, the animation is spot-on. The film also offers perhaps one of John Powell's best scores since How To Train Your Dragon.

The film also features its share of memorable characters. However, unlike Ice Age 5, which have pterosaur antagonists that wouldn't have changed the plot even if they were removed, the side characters in Ferdinand actually do have souls, and they do affect the plot in some way.

If I were to complain about one thing, I do wish that we saw more of the human girl Nina. I wanted her and Ferdinand to have a relationship similar to Hiccup and Toothless in How To Train Your Dragon.

In conclusion, Ferdinand is an excellent film to see this holiday season. If your kids are too young to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi or scared to see Coco, I strongly recommend Ferdinand. It will put a smile on your face.

The Great Toon War Chapter 18

"I'm Kellen Kellerman, here on Aberdale News!" Said a female news reporter. "It has been a week since the events of the Great Toon War, and Finn Mertins was reported to have been killed. A funeral is being held today at the Adventure Time set. Meanwhile, Internet sensation Nom Nom the Koala has been arrested for turning three civilized bears savage. He has been sentenced to spend ten years in the Charles Darwin Zoo." The scene then changes to Nom Nom in a cage with a python.

"Why do I have to be with a snake?" Asked Nom Nom.

"Because our other koala already has a mate." Said the python. "That's what Mr. Lyon says."

"Help me." Nom Nom whimpered. The scene then switched back to Kellen Kellerman.

"In unrelated news," Kellerman continued. "Last night, Blooerguard Q Kazoo has been given a special Oscar for making the first piece of film to be recorded by a cartoon character." The scene then switched to Bloo, with the help of Wilt, building a shelf for his trophy.

"I can't believe I won something for once!" Said Bloo.

"Me neither, Bloo!" Said Wilt. "You must be proud of yourself."

"I am proud of myself!" Declared Bloo. "Too bad I won't get a key to the city or a new car." The scene then switched back to Kellerman.

"That's all we have to say for now on Aberdale News!" Said Kellen. "I am Kellen Kellerman, signing off!"

Meanwhile, at nighttime in the land of Ooo, thousands of denizens and citizens showed up at Finn's funeral. It was presented by Bonnibel Bubblegum. Jake, Marceline, Ice King, LSP, BMO, and Phoebe already gave their speeches, and Bonnibel was ready to give hers.

"We have gathered here today because Finn, the last human in existence, died during the Great Toon War." She began. "He was one of the most amazing people I've ever met. He has rescued many princesses, fought many monsters, explored multiple dungeons, and was willing to help others with their problems! We will forever be grateful. Wildberry Princess, could you get some flowers ready when we bury Finn?"

"Okay, Princess Bubblegum." Wildberry Princess replied with a squeaky voice. Soon, Jake arrived with Finn in his bulldozer-shaped hands. He placed Finn on the ground, dug a hole for Finn to fit in, and placed Finn inside the hole.

"Now, Wildberry Princess!" Said Bonnibel. The berry princess threw flowers into Finn's grave. Marceline felt it was right to sing the song 'Best Friends In The World'. During the song, a celestial owl appeared in the sky and screeched like a falcon.

"The Cosmic Owl." Said Viola, one of Jake's children.

"We'll miss you, Uncle Finn." Said Charlie, another one of Jake's children.

"How are we gonna continue the show without Finn?" Asked Jake Jr, yet another one of Jake's children.

"I don't think we can." Said Jake. Little did everyone know that within a snail's shell, the whole funeral was being viewed by Pendleton Ward, creator of Adventure Time.

A week later, a package arrived at the Tree Fort. The doorbell rang, and Jake opened the door. Jake was surprised to see a package here. There was a sticker that said 'Open Immediately', so Jake opened the package, and to his surprise, Finn was in there!

"Buddy!" Shouted Jake. "But you're supposed to be dead."

"You should read this note, Jake." Said 'Finn', holding a piece of paper. Jake grabbed it and started reading.

Dear Jake,

I heard about Finn's death in Tristan da Cunha. Our crew in New York was devastated when they heard that, so Fred Siebert decided that we should make a Xerox copy of Finn for the final season of Adventure Time. We also didn't want the show to end on a cliffhanger, or else we'd get lots of angry fans. I also felt that you deserve Finn, and that you two need each other. That is one of the reasons we made a copy of Finn, but in our hearts, nothing will replace the original. We hope you like our present!

Your chum, Pen Ward

After reading the letter, Jake looked at the Finn clone and asked him a question.

"Would you like to go on an adventure?" Asked Jake.

"You bet I do!" Replied Finn. "Just let me grab Scarlet!" The two of them then set off on an adventure to the Valley of Monsters.

Author's Notes: Kellen Kellerman was a news spokeswoman from the Clarence episode 'Sneaky Peaky'.

Bloo complaining about not getting the key to the city or a new car is a reference to the Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends episodes 'Phone Home' and 'Bloo's the Boss'.

The python Nom Nom unfortunately gets constricted by in this chapter is Slips Python from My Gym Partner's a Monkey.

The koala Slips mentions in this chapter is another 'Gym Partner' reference: Deirdre Koala from 'She's Koala That'.

The snail in this chapter is a character in Adventure Time who appears in every episode as an Easter Egg. He's similar to how the Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story appears in every single Pixar film except for The Incredibles.

The Cosmic Owl, another Adventure Time character, flying over the Adventure Time characters in this chapter is a homage/reference to a rainbow that appeared over Pixar shortly after the announcement of Steve Jobs's death, as shown in the book 'Creativity Inc'.

The song 'Best Friends In The World' is from the Adventure Time episode 'What Was Missing'.
Well, that puts the end to my story The Great Toon War. On Saturday, December 16th, I will review Blue Sky's 12th feature film, Ferdinand!

"Noooo!!!!" Shouted Nom Nom. "You ruined my one chance for cable domination! That house of mouse only gave me three Night Howlers! I can't ask for more, because we're not owned by the same company!" Bloo started getting out a camcorder.

"Wow." Said Bloo. "This will definately make up for T-Rexatron Alienwolf III, A Prequel in Time: The Unrelenting!"

"You know how expensive it was to get those flowers and convert them into 2D?" Nom Nom continued. "Like tens of thousands of dollars! It would only make sense that since you ruined my future, I should ruin yours. I'm going to steal Steven, force him to revive Cartoon Network villains of old and new, and together, nothing, I mean nothing will stand in our way!"

"That wasn't in the deal!" Said Uncle Grandpa. "You said you would just turn the bears savage so you could help me win the war to prove our new shows are better."

"It's not about proving which shows are better." Said Nom Nom. "It's about power and control! I need more viewers and fans from the live-action world! With my adorable cuteness, I will manipulate anyone! Now come with me, Cookie Cat boy."

"No." Said Steven.

"No?" Nom Nom asked rhetorically. "Then I guess I have to make drastic measures." He then dialed his cell phone. "Hello? There's a tubby little boy here in Tristan da Cunha with a gemstone in his belly button, and I need him for world domination. I need him to revive deceased villains like Susan, Aku, and Jack-o-Lantern for my uprising. The Lich? No way! He's insane!"

"You have a good story to tell, koala boy." Said Bloo.

"It's Nom Nom!" Shouted the koala. "And yes, it is an ingenious plan, but why do you ask?"

"Because I recorded the whole thing!" Replied Bloo.

"So did I." Said Bobert. "I also alerted authorities from Elmore, as well as authorities from other shows." Nom Nom then walked over to Bobert and tried to reset his memory, but the button closed up, and a taser came out of Bobert's chest and electrocuted the koala.

"I also come with several weapons, including a taser." Bobert concluded. Mandy then picked up the cell phone.

"Cancel the order, please." She said.

"You know," Said Uncle Grandpa. "I think I learned something. Just because someone gives you a bad review doesn't mean you should go to war with them. Besides, thanks to Giant Realistic Flying Tiger, I found out I have a fan base in the real world! So we can call the whole thing off now." Grim then raised his hand.

"Could I just make one suggestion?" Asked Grim.

"Yes you may, skeleton man!" Said Uncle Grandpa.

"Could you please rename the Eric kid Dragontooth?" Grim asked. "Cupcake is an embarrassing name, and he deserved to be nicknamed Dragontooth."

"Hold on a second." Said Uncle Grandpa. "I just need to change my mind." Uncle Grandpa lifted his hat, pulled out his brain, and placed a bigger one inside. "Request granted! I will rename Eric Dragontooth when I see him again!" Steven then walked over to Grim.

"Here's your scythe back, Mr. Reaper." He said, and he gave Grim back his scythe.

"Oh, Scythy!" Said Grim. "I missed you so much!" Grim then kissed his scythe. Steven then walked towards Madame Foster.

"Can we make peace now?" He asked.

"Yes we may, young hero." Replied Madame Foster, and she and Steven shook hands. Uncle Grandpa soon started to cry.

"I now declare this war to be over!" Said Uncle Grandpa, and everyone cheered.

"If only Finn were alive to see this." Said Jake.

"Yeah." Said Marceline. "He would be proud." Mandy then starred at the unconscious Nom Nom.

"What should we do with this marsupial?" She asked.

"I already alerted authorities." Said Bobert. "Cops will soon be here to arrest the koala."

"Can we go home, now?" Asked Bloo. "I have valuable footage to send to the Oscars." Both the classic and modern Cartoon Network characters decided to return to California.
Author's Notes: The movie Bloo mentions in this chapter, T-Rexatron Alienwolf III, A Prequel in Time: The Unrelenting, was from the Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends episode 'One False Movie'.
In Uncle Grandpa, Uncle Grandpa nicknames all his nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. In the episode 'Nick Name', Uncle Grandpa makes a kid named Eric, who doesn't have a nickname, do all sorts of crazy chores, including slaying a bush dragon! After Eric slays the dragon and pulls out one of its teeth, Uncle Grandpa foolishly gives Eric the nickname 'Cupcake'. I know this is meant to be comedy, but that's just plain dumb. Eric himself even asked if he should be nicknamed Dragontooth, but UG just had to go with 'Cupcake'. Does this look like a cupcake to you?!

If you ask me, he looks a bit like Maui from Disney's Moana.

Thank Glob that Uncle Grandpa finally ended. It was so ridiculous that it made Billy and Mandy (which was actually quite awesome, but it didn't have much logic) look like science!
The deceased villains that Nom Nom mentions in this chapter include Aku from Samurai Jack, Jack-O-Lantern from 'Billy and Mandy's Jacked Up Halloween', The Lich from Adventure Time, and Susan from the Regular Show episode 'Benson Be Gone'.

WARNING! I made Nom Nom from We Bare Bears out of character in the final three chapters. He looks something like this.

 You may now continue with the story. 

Back at the MCN, Cow and Chicken were taking care of Jack's wound. Soon, they heard a crash, and Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup fell through the roof.

"They were too strong." Said Bubbles weakly.

"We tried our best, though." Said Blossom. Suddenly, Steven Universe, who was from the opposite team, came in and decided to announce something. Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl also tagged along.

"Excuse me, everyone." Said Steven. "I came because I feel it is wrong to fight each other. I know we're supposed to hate each other, but don't you see how far hatred has gotten us? One of our most beloved characters died because of this war! Now please do me a favor and let me heal the PowerPuffs. I come in peace." He walked over to the girls and spat on his hand.

"Are you trying to give us cooties?" Demanded Buttercup.

"No." Said Steven. "Just trust me." He then rubbed his hand on the injured PowerPuff Girls and healed them. "How do you feel?"

"I feel wonderful!" Said Bubbles, and she flew around in excitement.

"So," Said Garnet. "Do you believe in Steven? Do you think we should make peace?"

"I will." Said Double D, and he raised his hand.

"I will." Said Bubbles, and she raised her hand.

"Si." Said Eduardo, and he raised his hand.

"I will." Said Cow, and she raised her front hoof. Soon enough, everyone in the MCN clan raised their hand.

"Good!" Said Steven. "In five minutes, we will all make a peace treaty and put this war behind us."

A couple minutes later, everyone, both classic and modern, approached each other and started to form a peace treaty.

"Can we call it quits?" Steven asked Madame Foster.

"Yes we may, child." Said Madame Foster. "A deal's a..."

"It's not a deal!" Shouted a familiar voice. It was Uncle Grandpa. "It's not over until it's over! We need to fight until one remains! Otherwise, my friend Nom Nom has to make drastic measures. King of cuteness, come out and introduce yourself!" Nom Nom walked out of the doggy door of Uncle Grandpa's RV and started to introduce himself.

"Hello, everyone!" Said the koala. "My name is Nom Nom. Gramps here told me that if we win the Great Toon War, I will get to convince Daniel Chong to start shooting 'Nom Nom: The Series' in February! First, let's get a visit from our dear friends, the Bears!" Uncle Grandpa then opened three cages, and it surprised everyone: Grizz, Ice Bear, and Panda somehow turned savage! Thankfully, the bears had metal chains attached to them.

"How could you?" Asked Eduardo. "They are only teddy bears!" He then started crying.

"Teddy bears, huh?" Replied Nom Nom. "Everyone thinks pandas are so cute, but in fact, even though they're herbivorous, they're soon to chew off your head when you get a glimpse of them! After these bears kill all of you relics, I will unleash these beasts onto the set of We Bare Bears! Then their best friends Chloe, Charlie, and Tabes will be appalled! The show will be cancelled, and Chong will have no choice but to make room for my new show!"

"But there's one question that remains." Said Mandy. "How did you make those bears go savage?"

"I'll be able to answer that, kids!" Said Uncle Grandpa, and he pulled down the string to a chart.

(Cuts to a scene in which Uncle Grandpa is hosting an educational featurette)

"Hi kids!" Said Uncle Grandpa. "Uncle Grandpa here! Sorry to interrupt your story, but I'm here to tell you about how the bears went savage!"

"But be warned," Said Belly Bag. "There are spoilers ahead!"

"In Disney's 55th animated movie Zootopia," Uncle Grandpa continued. "There has been an epidemic in which predators, like lions, tigers, and bears, oh my, go savage! Late in the movie, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde discover that it's a toxic flower that turns animals savage. This is called a Night Howler."

"But Uncle Grandpa," Asked Belly Bag. "How did the Night Howlers get into a fanfic about Cartoon Network characters if they're owned by different companies?"

"Simple!" Said Uncle Grandpa. "Zootopia is co-directed by Rich Moore. Before joining Disney in 2008, Moore worked on early episodes of Futurama! Also working on Futurama was Peter Browndgart. He created yours truly, Uncle Grandpa! And that's how the Night Howlers got into the story! You may return to the main story, now!"

(Cuts back to the main story)

"Why couldn't you ask a Cartoon Network character to help you?" Asked the imaginary Chowder.

"Well," Nom Nom began. "I could've chosen Steven's 'green space Dorito', but she has yet to fuse with anyone! Not even a Gem! I could've chosen that pink nerdy princess made of bubblegum to help me, but she stated it was wrong to turn animals who have evolved to speak to be reverted to their savage ways. But then I met Uncle Grandpa, and he gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. That's enough chatter. Enjoy your demise!" Nom Nom cut off the chains and set the bears loose.

"Oh no!" Said Cow. "This is terrible! This looks like a job for..." She went in the home base to change into her superhero outfit. "Super Cow, to the rescue!" She placed a boxing glove on her udder, ran toward Grizz Ice Bear and punched their stomachs, spitting out the Night Howlers and reverting them back to normal. However, when Cow saw Panda, who was fighting Jake the Dog, she couldn't find it in her heart to punch a panda.

"I can't do it." Said Cow. "I can't fight an endangered species! And even when it's savage, it looks adorable."

"Sorry to burst your bubble, bovine." Said a small squeaky voice. "But panda bears were removed from the Endangered list back in the Spring."

"Who's that?" Asked Cow. "Is it Mickey Mouse?"

"I'm not Mickey Mouse!" The voice said again. "Look down, please!" Cow looked down and saw a pea with arms, legs, and a face. He also wore a thimble as a hat.

"The name's Peas." He said. "I couldn't help but overhear you talking. You stated you can't hurt a panda, right?" Cow nodded her head yes. "Well, I know how to re-civilize this beast. Just chuck me inside, and I'll do the rest. Also, could someone bring me some nachos?"

"Nachos?!" Shouted Billy, and he ran to the cow and pea. "I love nachos! I kept some under my hat." Billy lifted his hat to reveal a small hairy bowl of nachos. "I was saving these for my friend, Fred Fredburger, but if you want them, that will be fine with me. However, I will only give it to you if you have something to trade." Dee-Dee, Ed, Gumball, and Coco ran towards Billy to offer him tradable items.

"How about this vintage 1957 Darbie doll?" Asked Dee Dee.

"Nah." Said Billy.

"How about this Gamechild handheld video game console?" Asked Gumball.

"Mom says I have too many video games." Said Billy.

"How about a jawbreaker?" Asked Ed.

"I already have a talking gumball machine at home." Said Billy.

"Coco!" Said Coco. She laid a plastic egg with 'Bily' written on it. Billy opened the egg and it revealed an ordinary stick.

"It's wonderful!" Said Billy with glee. "I'll name him Derek. Here are the nachos."

"Could you hurry up, please?" Asked Jake, who wrapped himself around Panda like a snake. "I think he's starting to break out of my grip!" Panda then escaped Jake's coils and started running towards Cow. Cow picked up the nachos and Peas and threw it into Panda's stomach. Suddenly, he returned to normal and spat out Peas.

"What happened?" He asked.

"You were captured by a psychotic koala and turned savage." Said Mandy.

"But you have been saved thanks to Super Cow!" Declared Cow.

Author's Notes: Yes. There's a character in Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends who sounds like Mickey Mouse, Peas. He only appeared in one episode of the entire series, 'The Little Peas'. He's actually voiced by the same guy that voices Wilt, Phil LaMarr!

The doll Dee Dee offers to Billy is a Darbie doll from Dexter's Laboratory, a spoof of Barbie.

The Gamechild was a cursed video game console in the Amazing World of Gumball episode 'The Console'.

The talking gumball machine was from the Billy and Mandy episode 'The Bubble With Billy'.

The idea for nachos turning Panda (from We Bare Bears) back to normal came from the We Bare Bears episode 'Primal'. In that episode, Grizz gets him and Ice Bear lost in the woods to test their survival skills. However, without human food, which they have adapted to, Panda and Ice Bear turned savage and start acting wild. Grizz saves them by bringing them to Burger Boy, a fast food joint, and feeding them burgers, turning Ice Bear and Panda back to normal.
The nachos is another reference to The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. One of the characters introduced late in the show's life was Fred Fredburger, a dopey elephant-like demon who likes nachos and frozen yogurt. His catchphrase was 'Yes.'
 
Yes. In Steven Universe, Steven has healing saliva, which he inherited from his mother (except Rose had healing tears).
The stick Coco gives to Billy is a reference to the Billy and Mandy episode 'Look Alive'. In the beginning of the episode, Billy and Mandy come back from a fishing trip, but all they caught was a stick. Billy, unaware that it wasn't a fish, affectionately named it Derek.

One of the few times in which Mandy actually smiled on the show.

The pink nerdy princess made of bubblegum is Bonnibel Bubblegum from Adventure Time. She will appear in the final chapter, in which she attends Finn's funeral.
'Green space Dorito' is the nickname fans give Peridot in Steven Universe.

While Gumball and Darwin were distracting the PowerPuff Girls, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven walked to a large isolated area.

"Gems!" Said Garnet. "Alexandrite won't be enough to beat these bug-eyed freaks. We have to form Angel Aura Quartz."

"But Steven is half human!" Said Pearl. "We don't want to risk his own life for fighting a bunch of little girls!"

"I can handle it, Pearl." Said Steven. "I am my own mom. But first, I need to call Connie." Steven got out his cell phone and dialed Connie's number. "Hello, Connie? Could you come over here please? I need to borrow the scabbard." A few seconds later, Connie appeared on top of Lion with the scabbard in her hand.

"Why do you need the sword?" Asked Connie.

"We are going to form Temple Fusion 2.0!" Answered Steven. Connie then appeared on Lion and gave Steven the sword, and Steven put the sword in his backpack (which was previously empty).

"How about we start by setting off some smoke?" Asked Amethyst. She and Steven performed their dance, and they formed Smokey Quartz.

"Connie," Said Smokey. "You should head back to home base. This might get a little messy." Connie hopped back onto Lion, he opened up a portal, and the two were gone.

"Ready to make your mother proud?" Asked Garnet.

"Yes, I am." Answered Smokey. Smokey, Garnet, and Pearl all performed an elaborate dance, and an large ball of light engulfed the three of them. After 45 seconds, Angel Aura Quartz was formed.

"Hey, Powder Puffs!" They shouted. By this point, only a few hundred PowerPuff Girls remained. "Why don't you fight someone your own size?" The PowerPuffs stopped fighting Gumball and Darwin and started fighting Angel. Angel pulled out the scabbard and started striking the PowerPuff Girls with it, like how one would hit flies with a fly swatter. Soon, 21 of the PPGs started forming a new attack.

"Starburst Ray!" They said, and a powerful beam was blasted. Thankfully, Angel dodged it, but then the girls started forming another attack.

"Fireball!" Six more of the Girls shouted. Three Blossoms blew fire in their hands, and three Buttercups threw the amazingly hot flames at Angel. Thankfully, because Sapphire has ice powers, Angel was able to generate a snowball in their hands. They threw it at the fireball, and it weakened to a smaller size. Angel blew out the ball like a candle, and they continued slaying more PowerPuff clones. On occasions, some clones would shoot lasers at the giant woman, but Angel got out Steven's shield and blocked them. Soon, only the three original PowerPuff Girls remained.

"We only have one last chance, girls." Said Blossom. "The Fiery Furious Feline."

"Now, that's what I'm talking about!" Said Buttercup, and the three of them started flying around the world at very high speeds. They started to catch on fire and were slowly fusing into one another. The Girls then formed the Fiery Furious Feline, and started flying back to Tristan da Cunha.

Meanwhile, back in Tristan da Cunha, Angel decided to use Garnet's future vision to detect an upcoming attack.

"It's a cat..." Said Garnet's voice. "Made of fire! We have to make an ice spear."

"But that's too risky!" Said Pearl's voice. "Think of what might happen to Steven!"

"Just trust me!" Shouted Garnet's voice. Angel formed a six-yard-long icicle and held it like a lance. Suddenly, they heard something.

"FIERY FURIOUS FELINE!" Shouted the PowerPuff Girls, who took on the form of a flaming cat. Angel held the icicle at the cat, and it slammed the giant woman to the ground. Thankfully, Angel survived, but both the icicle and the cat were gone. However, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup were lying unconscious on Angel's stomach. They placed the girls on the ground, and Angel stood up on their legs.

"Time to dispose of these pests once and for all!" Said Amethyst's voice. "Can I borrow Sardy's hammer?"

"It's Sardonyx!" Said Pearl's voice. "But only this once." Sardonyx's hammer came out of Pearl's gem, and both Amethyst and Steven's arms grabbed the hammer. Angel then held the hammer like a golf club and hit the PowerPuff Girls with it. They were all sent flying back to CCN's home base. Suddenly, Angel started crying, and they split back into Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven. Steven was in tears.

"Steven, why are you crying?" Asked Pearl.

"Those girls deserved to live." Said Steven. "They may be different, but they're still living things like you and me. Can I go to the CCN home base to I can heal them?" Pearl let out a sigh.

"Okay, Steven." She said in defeat.

Author's Notes: I had to do LOTS of research about The PowerPuff Girls for this epic fight. All these attacks they did in this chapter and Chapter 14 also happened in the TV series.

The Great Toon War Chapter 14

Madame Foster was now speaking through a megaphone again.

"And last, but not least, The PowerPuff Girls vs. The Crystal Gems!" She said. The GMOs and the extra-terrestrials walked towards each other. "Fight!"

"Amethyst!" Said Garnet. "You fight the green one. Pearl, you fight the blue one. I'll fight the pink one by myself." The Gems then split up and started fighting separate PowerPuffs.

Garnet came face to face with Blossom and started sending a flurry of punches. Blossom countered that by delivering a punch that send Garnet flying. Blossom flew to where Garnet landed, but instead, a red Gem and a blue Gem appeared. They were Ruby and Sapphire.

"Who are you?" Asked Blossom.

"We are Ruby and Sapphire." Said Sapphire. "We are what make up Garnet."

"And you separated us, you cold bug-eyed cretin!" Said Ruby.

"Well, I have something to say myself." Said Blossom. "The cold never bothered me, anyway!" She started breathing ice and froze Sapphire, while Ruby was immune to the frost.

"Now you've asked for it!" Said Ruby, and she jumped onto Blossom, who was floating in the air. Blossom couldn't see where she was going, so she shot lasers out of her eyes, and Ruby let go. She shape-shifted into a pillow so she wouldn't shatter. Sapphire soon defrosted and pursued after Blossom by making an ice bridge.

Meanwhile, Pearl was fighting Bubbles, but while they were fighting, Bubbles started crying.

"Oh my goodness!" Said Pearl. "I didn't mean to hurt you... Wait. That computer with legs said she has supersonic screeches. I better duck and cover." Pearl hid behind a boulder and Bubbles started screaming. Thankfully, Pearl doesn't have ears, but she still blocked where her ears would be. After her uproar, Bubbles started looking for Pearl.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Said Bubbles. Pearl then summoned a Holo-Pearl, and it pursued after Bubbles.

"Oh, there you are!" Said Bubbles.

"Not quite!" Said Pearl, who leapt out from behind the rock, and both of them threw spears at Bubbles. Bubbles dodged the spears and shot lasers out of her eyes. Pearl has no choice but to fuse with someone.

Meanwhile, Amethyst was fighting Buttercup. Buttercup was delivering punches and sent Amethyst flying. She shape-shifted into a bird so she wouldn't hit the ground, and Buttercup started chasing Amethyst. When Buttercup finally caught Amethyst, she turned into the Purple Puma. Amethyst then dropped to the ground with Buttercup in tow.

"Impressive." Said Buttercup. "Stronger than I thought. Now it's my turn!" Buttercup was about to deliver another punch, but then Amethyst wrapped Buttercup with her whip. However, Buttercup broke free, and Amethyst started fleeing. She ran into Pearl, much to her surprise.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Amethyst.

"I got away by distracting the blue one with holographic clones of myself." Answered Pearl. "Is it okay if I fuse with you?"

"Opal?" Asked Amethyst.

"Opal." Said Pearl. They performed their dance and formed Opal.

"Who's the purple woman?" Asked Buttercup.

"She's Opal." Said Garnet, who recently reformed. "And she's going to kick your butt." Buttercup looked at Opal again, and she had an arrow pointed at her. Opal fired, but Buttercup dodged the arrows. However it hit Blossom instead.

"Ow!" She said.

"Blossom, are you okay?" Asked Bubbles.

"I'm fine, Bubbles." Said Blossom, who now had a black eye. "I just damaged my eye a little." This enraged Buttercup.

"Don't you dare touch my sister!" Said Buttercup, and she started brutally attacking Opal, splitting her back into Amethyst and Pearl. Amethyst turned into a mouse and crawled toward Garnet, and the fusion picked her up.

"Time to mash things up?" Amethyst asked.

"Yes, it is." Said Garnet. While Garnet and Amethyst started performing their fusion dance, Pearl distracted the PowerPuffs with Holo-Pearls. After 20 seconds, Amethyst and Garnet formed Sugilite.

"Ready to fight a real opponent?" She asked.

"That's what we do!" Said Buttercup. "Ready girls?"

"Ready!" Said Blossom and Bubbles in unison.

"B-Bomb!" Said the PowerPuffs. They started connecting together and a beam of pink, blue, and green was about to hit Sugilite and Pearl, but then Steven jumped in and activated his shield, protecting the Gems from the dangerous attack.

"What the?" Said the PowerPuff Girls in unison. Sugilite swung her mace around and hit the PowerPuff Girls! When they recovered, Blossom announced their next plan.

"Girls." She said. "We have to perform X-Q."

"But we didn't cover that in training!" Said Bubbles.

"Why not use Cosmic Cannonball?" Asked Buttercup.

"That would kill our allies!" Said Blossom. "We wouldn't want to do that."

"Okay." Said Buttercup. "I'll be right back." A couple seconds later, Buttercup came back with Dexter's spinning device.

"Will this really make thousands of copies of ourselves instead of just dozens?" Asked Bubbles.

"I hope so." Said Blossom. The girls then strapped themselves to the device, and the machine activated automatically. Soon, the PowerPuff Girls were spinning at 200 miles a minute. They were starting to get dizzy, but they felt themselves dividing. After two minutes, the machine let go, and there were now 3,000 PowerPuff Girls instead of just three.

"I wonder what's taking those brats so long?" Asked Sugilite. Suddenly, she and Pearl heard a swarming noise: The PowerPuff Girls returned, but there was more of them!

"Time to perform some homicide." Said Sugilite. She swung her mace and hit a couple dozen. However, they were too many for Pearl to handle, and she got poofed.

"No!" Said Steven. He grabbed Pearl's gemstone, put it in his cheeseburger backpack, and trapped himself in a bubble. Six PowerPuffs started chasing after him. Thankfully, Steven's bubble was nearly indestructible. He started calling two of his friends with his cell phone.

"Gumball! Darwin!" He said. "I need your help! We need you to buy use some time! Bring a mirror!"

"Why a mirror?" Asked Darwin.

"Pretend it's a round of Space Gladiators!" Answered Steven.

"But you know the rule!" Said Gumball. "Break a mirror and you get seven years of bad luck!"

"Do you want seven years of bad luck, or do you want seven years in the infirmary?" Asked Darwin.

"Okay." Said Gumball. Not knowing where he was going, Steven hit a rock. Luckily, Gumball and Darwin came just in time.

"Follow me!" Said Steven. "And try not to get killed!" Gumball and Darwin followed Steven, while still carrying the large mirror.

When the three came back, Amethyst and Garnet were fighting the PowerPuff Girls unfused. Suddenly, Steven felt his backpack rumble. He emptied his backpack, and Pearl reformed.

"Steven?" Pearl asked. "Why are you trapped in a bubble again?"

"The PowerPuff Girls poofed you." Said Steven. "When you retreated into your Gem, I put you in my backpack so they wouldn't find you." Steven then turned off his bubble. "Gumball, Darwin. Could you do us a favor and fight the 'aliens' for us? Think of it like a video game!"

"Oh boy!" Both of them said in unison. They grabbed the mirror and headed towards the PowerPuff Girls. One of them tried shooting a beam at the cat and goldfish, but the mirror reflected it back and hit a PowerPuff.

"Combo breaker!" Said Gumball and Darwin.
Author's Notes: Space Gladiators is the name I gave to the unnamed video game that Gumball and Darwin play in the Amazing World of Gumball episode 'The Phone'. It was reminiscent to the classic arcade game Space Invaders.
 
The fight between the PowerPuff clones and Gumball and Darwin is homage to the scene in 'The Phone' in which Gumball and Darwin fight Ocho, an 8-bit spider.

In case you're wondering what they're saying, Gumball and Darwin are saying "Co-co-co-co-combo breaker!"

In Steven Universe, Pearl was actually able to make holographic clones of herself for sword-fighting lessons.

For those not keeping up with Steven Universe, Garnet is actually two Gems fused together: Ruby, a short-tempered red Gem with fire powers, and Sapphire, a calm and kind blue Gem with ice powers. She can also see into the future.

Blossom saying 'the cold never bothered me, anyway' is an obvious reference to Frozen.
