The Great Toon War Chapter 2

The Great Toon War Chapter 2
Many days later, the classic Cartoon Network characters finished watching all the episodes of the modern Cartoon Network shows, and vice versa. Each of them had mixed opinions on the shows.
"Sarah?" Jimmy asked his friend timidly. "Is there really an alien rock at the center of the Earth that will crack the planet open like an egg?"
"Of course, not, Jimmy!" Said Sarah. "Everyone knows aliens don't exist! Or at least, not in our show."
"Is it me, or was my name on that crackpot's list?" Dexter thought to himself.
"Why does someone containing candy have to be so mean?" Bubbles sobbed.
"It's okay, Bubbles." Said Blossom, who was comforting her sister. "He's just acting. He couldn't possibly be that mean in real life."
"Hey, Mandy!" Billy asked. "Can we open our own food truck like those bears did?"
"You know you stink at making your own food." Said Mandy. "Besides, you would eat it all before the first customer arrives."
"I personally wish one of those princesses would fall for me." Said Johnny Bravo. "But not that fat purple one. She's scary."
"Haven't you noticed how similar the Ed's lives are to ours, Jeff?" Clarence asked in a giggly voice.
"Yes, Clarence." Answered Jeff in an annoyed tone. "I have noticed."
"Steven," Pearl said to the half-gem. "Were cartoons always that surreal and disturbing?"
"I don't remember so." Said a confused Steven. "This is probably what Rebecca grew up with.
"Wasn't Samurai Jack awesome, Jake?" Finn asked his magic canine companion.
"He sure was, Finn." Said Jake. "Jack was so awesome that he made Billy look like a loser!"
"I think I noticed something, Darwin." Gumball said to Darwin. "Hector looks like he came from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends."
"You know, what?" Said Darwin. "You're actually kind of right."
"Wirt?" Greg asked his older brother. "Remember how when we got lost in the woods, we went to a school for animals?"
"That was just a dream, Greg." Said Wirt. "It wasn't real." Greg was stunned for a bit.
"I was just going to ask what you thought of the show about the lion and the monkey." Said Greg.
"He wasn't an actual lion, Greg." Said Wirt. "His last name sounded like 'lion', so they sent him to an animal school." Everyone soon went to a booth to write a review for each cartoon they saw, excluding their own. After everyone wrote down their reviews, Double D decided to announce the reviews.
"Okay, everyone!" Said Double D. "Time to cast the votes! First, let's see what reviews the classics got. Let's see, Dexter's Laboratory: A. Johnny Bravo: A. Cow & Chicken: A. The PowerPuff Girls: A. Ed, Edd n Eddy: A-. Courage the Cowardly Dog: A. Samurai Jack: A+. Robot Jones. B-. Billy and Mandy: A-. Kids Next Door: B+. Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends: A+. Camp Lazlo: C+. The Life and Times of Juniper Lee: C. My Gym Partner's a Monkey: Oh dear. C-. And finally, the Ben 10 trilogy: B! That means we're certified fresh!" Everyone cheered.
"Now it's time for the next team's reviews." Said Double D, and he began reading reviews for the newer Cartoon Network shows. "First off, Chowder: B-. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack: C. Oh dear. Adventure Time: A. Regular Show: A-. The Amazing World of Gumball: B+. Secret Mountain Fort Awesome: D-. Uncle Grandpa: Oh dear. F-. Steven Universe: A+. Clarence: C. Over the Garden Wall: A+. We Bare Bears: A. Mighty Magiswords: C-. And finally, OK KO: B+. Well, looks like that rounds up our..." Double D was interrupted by Uncle Grandpa.
"Wait a darn minute!" He said. "I refuse to be given a bad review! In fact, I think Uncle Grandpa deserves an Emmy or an Annie Award!"
"But UG!" Said Mr. Gus. "You did win an Emmy, but only for one episode."
"But I need to win another Emmy!" Pleaded Uncle Grandpa. "I want to be on the same wall as Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, and Homer Simpson!" Mr. Gus had no choice but to knock UG unconscious. He gave the crazy man some pills, a glass of water, and woke him up with the smell of a peanut butter cracker.
"Oh boy! Peanut butter!" Uncle Grandpa snatched the cracker from Mr. Gus and ate it whole. "There's only one way we can settle this."
"Settle our differences and head home?" Asked Belly Bag.
"Make an episode on how awesome Pizza Steve is?" Asked Pizza Steve.
"Agree to disagree?" Asked Mr. Gus.
"No." Said Uncle Grandpa. "We have to go into war. What day is it, Mr. Gus?"
"October 8th." Said the grumpy dinosaur.
"Then on November 8th," Declared Uncle Grandpa. "The Great Toon War will begin. If we win, you move to Canada, and we will stop airing your shows on every channel in the world!"
"So what happens if we win?" Asked Mandy.
"If you win, you'll be able to live side by side with us!" Said Belly Bag. "Does that sound fair, Uncle Grandpa?"
"Okay, I guess." Said UG. "But remember: November 8th is the Great Toon War." Uncle Grandpa then pulled the RV out of Belly Bag, and the UG characters flew off.
"I guess we have to go, too." Said Finn, and the rest of the modern Cartoon Network characters started leaving.
Author's Notes: Believe it or not, Uncle Grandpa actually did win an Emmy Award. Nick Edwards, part of the UG crew, won an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Individual in Animation' for the episode 'Afraid of the Dark'.
Uncle Grandpa admitted that he loved peanut butter in the episode 'Uncle Grandpa For a Day'.
The shows that the characters talk about when they leave the theaters include Steven Universe, Regular Show, We Bare Bears, Adventure Time, Ed, Edd n Eddy, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Samurai Jack, and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.
