The Great Toon War Chapter 6

It was now 4 PM. The Eds were practicing using their Canadian Squirt Guns on the Furious Flaming Feline.

"Cat!" Shouted Ed, and they started squirting at the flaming cat. However, after it was doused, it was revealed to be the PowerPuff Girls.

"I hate it when they do that." Said Buttercup. Bubbles then noticed something.

"Look!" She said. "It's Dexter and a girl!" The girl happened to be Goo, the one who almost made Foster's go out of business.

"Goo!" Said Bloo, and he ran over to the eight-year-old girl.

"It's nice to see you, Chester." She said. "Where's Madame Foster? I heard she wants to see me."

"I'll take you to her!" Said Edd. He grabbed Goo's hand, secretly blushing, and walked towards the podium where Madame Foster was sitting. Dexter also tagged along.

"Well, if it isn't Goo." She said. "The girl with a wild imagination. We called you because we are going into war with the newer shows."

"Would you like me to make an imaginary army?" Asked Goo.

"Goodness, no!" Said Madame Foster. "We need you to make an imaginary replica of Chowder."

"Imaginary chowder?!" Asked Goo. "That sounds as bad as imaginary cocoa!"

"No, child." Said Madame Foster. "We need you to make an un-imaginary friend of a cartoon character named Chowder." She then showed Goo a picture of Chowder.

"That looks like a raccoon. Why can't you just ask Chowder himself to join the army?"

"Because he grew up."

"I thought cartoon characters don't age."

"Well, this one did." Intervened Dexter. "But if you ask me, they should've put more effort into it."

"We also need you to make a clone of Chowder that's less... Obnoxious." Said Double D.

"How am I supposed to do that?" Asked Goo.

"Use these DVDs as reference footage." Said Madame Foster. She gave the young girl the Chowder DVD sets 'Ten Tasty Stories' and 'Ten Hilarious Helpings'. "We want him within a week."

"Will do, madam!" Said Goo, and she went back home.

"By the way, Madame Foster," Said Dexter. "Here's the monster serums. However, only Dee-Dee and I will use these. Where's Ben 10? I'd like to speak to him."

"I'll call him over, sweetie." Said Madame Foster. "Ben Tennyson! Dexter would like to see you!"

"I hope it's the Omnidrix I've been asking for!" Said Ben.

"You're in luck, Ben!" Said Dexter. "Here is your upgraded Omnidrix. I was able to recover 50 of your countless alien forms. You will now be able to switch from alien to alien with ease. Unfortunately, I was unable to recover Ultimate forms."

"Thanks, little dude!" Said Ben, giving Dexter a noogie. As he and Double D walked away, the PowerPuff Girls flew near Dexter.

"Could you make us a machine that spins very fast?" Asked Blossom.

"What for?" Asked Dexter.

"We might need it to perform X-Q." Said Buttercup. Dexter then flipped through his pamphlet and found what they were talking about.

"Oh, I see!" Said Dexter. "That's when you spin around at very high speeds and make clones of yourselves. I shall make a machine that will spin at 200 miles a minute, and that should make thousands of clones!"

"Yay!" Said the PowerPuff Girls.

Meanwhile, on October 9th in Burbank, California, the modern Cartoon Network characters were being given a speech by Nicole Watterson, Gumball's mom.

"Listen up, pussy willows!" She said. "Sissy talk and tickling fights stop now. It's make your mama proud time!"

"I love my mama!" Said Hector.

"Gumball!" Nicole said to her son. "You're annoying, obnoxious, and impulsive. Want to know who else has those traits?"

"Uh, who?" Asked Gumball.

"Blooerguard Q Kazoo!" Replied Nicole. Bobert then projected a picture of Bloo like a movie projector. "You will be fighting him."

"But I don't want to fight." Said Gumball.

"If you don't," Nicole threatened. "I'll tell Mr. Graves to write an episode in which you get treated as badly as Lincoln Loud!"

"Mam, yes, mam!" Said Gumball.

"Garnet! Amethyst! Pearl!" Said Nicole. "You will fight the PowerPuff Girls."

"But we only fight corrupted Gems!" Said Pearl. "Those are just innocent children!"

"Really?" Said Nicole. "These Girls can punch through boulders, fly faster than the speed of light, and fire powerful beams through their eyes. They also unwittingly helped their enemies numerous times." Steven then looked at Garnet.

"Would you ever do that to me?" He asked sadly.

"Of course not, Steven." Said Garnet.

"So, you will fight these creatures?" Asked Nicole.

"As long as we don't kill them." Said Pearl.

"Moving on then." Nicole continued. "Banana Joe, you will be fighting Billy."

"But I don't fight." Said the Googley-eyed banana. "I make jokes."

"But isn't it true that you tested a light saber?"

"What's a light saber?" Nicole sighed and showed a picture of a light saber.

"Oh, that thing!" Said Banana Joe. "But it wasn't any good! It didn't help your eyesight, it cuts someone in half when you try giving someone a haircut, and it overheated my sandwich!"

"That's because it's supposed to be a weapon!" Snapped Nicole. "It's basically like a sword, except made of plasma."

"Oh." Said Banana Joe. "I didn't know it was a weapon. Let the practicing begin!"

"We'll begin after the presentation, Banana Joe." Said Nicole. "Hector, you're going to fight Dexzilla."

"But what if I destroy the city again?" The giant asked.

"That's why the fight's going to take place in Tristan da Cunha, Hector." Said Nicole. "It's the most desolate place on Earth. Penny, you will fight the Grim Reaper. Darwin, you will fight Cow."

"Why would I want to hurt a cow?" Asked Darwin.

"Well, you and Gumball did kill hundreds of cows to expand Joyful Burger just so he could get a secret burger." Said Nicole.

"How did you know?" Asked Darwin.

"I had to fess up sooner or later." Said Richard.

"And don't you have some piranha in you, Darwin?" Nicole asked persuasively.

"I guess." Said Darwin.
Author's Notes: In the original PowerPuff Girls, the PPGs could fuse into a flaming cat called the Furious Flaming Feline.

This attack will be used again in Chapter 15.
In the Amazing World of Gumball episode 'The Boredom', Banana Joe was asked by a secret science lab to test what appeared to be a Light Saber, from the Star Wars franchise. I find this interesting because this episode was made after Disney bought the rights to Star Wars.

In Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Goo would call Bloo 'Chester'.
The introduction for the Modern Cartoon Network characters preparing for war is heavily borrowed from Calhoun's introduction in Wreck-it Ralph.
Chowder only had two DVD releases: Ten Tasty Stories and Ten Hilarious Helpings.

The incident in which Gumball and Darwin killed hundreds of cows to expand Joyful Burger, a fast food restaurant in 'Gumball', was from the rather disturbing episode 'The Menu'.
Un-imaginary friends were imaginary friends in 'Foster's' who were basically characters the kids saw on TV.
