Poketropolis Chapter 6

Dawn eventually got out of the cement and headed back to her apartment. When her parents called, they saw Dawn wearing her meter maid uniform. However, Dawn told them that she was a real cop and would get to do a real case. After her conversation with her parents, Dawn said to herself "Tomorrow is another day."

"Yeah, but it be worse!" Said a Stantler from the other room.

The next morning, many Pokémon were mad at Dawn.

"I was 30 seconds over!" Said a Rapidash.

"You're a real hero, lady." Said a Pikachu.

"My mommy wishes you were dead." Said a Hippopotas with his mother. Dawn walked to her car and banged her head on the steering wheel.

"I am a real cop. I am a real cop." She said. Suddenly, a Grumpig poked his head through the window.

"Hey!" He said. "You, Lopunny!"

"Sir," Dawn began. "If you have a problem, head to the PPD instead."

"What are you talking about?" Said the Grumpig. "My shop was just robbed! Look! He's getting away!" Dawn looked to the left and saw a Gumshoos running off with a bag.

"Are you a cop or not?" Asked the Grumpig.

"Oh, yes! Yes!" Said Dawn, getting out of the car. "Don't worry, sir! I've got this!" Dawn ripped off her meter maid outfit and ran after the Gumshoos.

"Stop!" She said as she ran. "Stop in the name of the law!"

"Catch me of you can, Cottontail!" Said Gummy Shoes, the Gumshoos, as he ran through a crowd of Pokémon. Nino McHorn stepped out of a police car and spoke through a walkie talkie.

"This is Officer McHorn," Said the Nidoking. "We got a 10-31."

"I got dibs!" Shouted Dawn as she jumped on the car. "Officer Lopps. I am in pursuit! Whoo-whoo!" Dawn was about to catch the Gumshoos, but Gummy then saw Pikachu Square, which was guarded by a large fence. He threw the bag in the air, slid through the entrance, caught the bag, and ran off. Dawn safely entered Pikachu Square and noticed that they were all so small. Dawn then saw Gummy Shoes and continued chasing him. Gummy stole two Pikachu cars and used them as if they were roller skates. He then ran across some buildings, knocked one of them over, and ran on the Pikachu train track. The buildings were starting to fall over like Dominos, but Dawn put them back in place with her feet. However, the Pikachus and Dedenne were still terrified.

"Sorry." Said Lopps. "Coming through." And she walked on the train track. However, Gummy Shoes then arrived on top of a train.

"Bon voyage, small foot!" He taunted. Suddenly, he encountered a series of pipes that the Pikachus walked through, and Dawn was waiting on one of them. She grabbed the Gumshoos and sent him flying. Gummy landed near a doughnut shop, and once he regained his consciousness, he picked up the doughnut from the top of the shop and threw it at Dawn.

"Have a doughnut, copper!" He teased. Dawn dodged the doughnut, but she followed it and grabbed it, stopping it from crushing a blue Dedenne.

"I love your hair." Said Dawn.

"Thank you." Said the Dedenne. Dawn picked up the doughnut and trapped Gummy with it.

Meanwhile, back at the PPD, a female Floatzel was talking to Gabe about her missing husband.

"Okay." Said Gabe. "You're gonna have to be patient like everyone else." Suddenly, the doughnut rolled in with Gummy in tow.

"I popped the weasel!" Dawn said triumphantly. However, Chief Taki was not pleased.
Author's Note: I am aware that the Pikachu line may not be as small as real mice, so I scaled them down to the size of Dedenne: Eight inches tall.
