Ellie, Chip, Gadget, Zipper, and the Eds soon arrived at the police station. Ed had Adult Angelica
and Marvin in a potato sack. A CGI bird cop and a hand-drawn chinchilla were arguing over what to do with CGI Angelica, who was cuffed to the counter.
“Yes, I know she was involved with heinous crimes.” Said the chinchilla. “But still, she doesn’t deserve
to be behind bars. She’s only a kid, for McKay’s sake!”
“But she wanted to eliminate all CGI Toons!” The bird argued. “What do you think I am? Stop-motion?”
The group then saw the animal cops arguing.
“Steckler?” Asked the chinchilla. “I thought you quit to start your own detective agency.”
“I did, Officer DelGado.” Replied Ellie. “But we have someone in this sack you’d be surprised to see.”
Ed dumped the bag to reveal two of the criminals behind the CGI kidnappings.
“Let me at ‘em! Let me at ‘em!” Said the bird with DelGado grabbing onto his leg.
“No need, Officer O’Hara.” Said Ellie. “These guys will be unconscious for about an hour. Better
throw them in jail before they wake up.”
“I’ll be on it.” Said DelGado, giving a whistle. Soon, a human-size CGI newt arrived, but was shocked
by who was on the floor.
“Sweet mother of Harryhausen!” Said the newt. “That’s the same criminal Chief Bogo was after. He
warned us about her USB drives.”
“Where is Chief Bogo, anyway?” Asked Chip.
“He’s still out there trying to chase Angelica.” Answered O’Hara. “The adult one, I mean.”
“Well, tell him that she’s now in custody!” Said Gadget. “By the way, do you have a computer I
could use? I have a friend that needs to be rematerialized.”
“Yes you may.” Said the newt. “I have some criminals to put in jail, if you please.” He grabbed Adult
Angelica and Marvin and started walking to the slammer. Gadget and Chip scampered over to a
computer and found a USB port. Gadget inserted one of the USB drives into the computer with a
3D printer, typed on the computer, and a huge blast of light burst out of the printer. After a few seconds,
Moana appeared from the flash.
“Mahalo plenty, guys!” She said. “I have to get going. The Walt Disney Company is turning 100 this
year, and I’m one of the top 100 contending Toons!” She ran off to return to Walt Disney Animation
Studios.
“Maybe it’s the next one.” Said Gadget, pulling out the USB drive and putting in a different one. This
time, Dale came out.
“Did I miss anything?” He asked, dazed after being rematerialized.
“Dale!” Screamed Chip, and he threw off his hat, ran towards Dale and gave him a great big hug. “You
were zapped into a USB drive. I thought we’d never get you back.”
“So,” Dale asked with a confused tone. “Everything’s artichokey?”
“Yes, Dale.” Replied Chip. “Everything’s artichokey.” Chief Bogo then entered the building.
“Where is the younger Angelica?!” He asked, and Ellie, the Eds, O’Hara, and DelGado all pointed
to where CGI Angelica was.
“Please don’t arrest me!” She pleaded. “I’m only three!”
“I won’t arrest you, younger Pickles.” Said Chief Bogo. “However, your crimes won’t go unpunished.
You will spend a whole month in Toontown. The residents there are very friendly, I’ve been told.”
“NO!” CGI Angelica screamed. “I’ll be reformed! I’ll give up Cynthia! I’ll stop eating cookies!”
“Too late, Pickles.” Said Chief Bogo. “Take her away, boys.” Two live-action cops grabbed the
handcuffed Angelica and started bringing her to a police car.
“Do you suppose you could help us?” Double D asked the buffalo.
“What are you three buffoons doing here?” He asked. “Don’t you have a home?”
“We used to.” Eddy started. “We had a home in Toontown Canada, but were kicked out after
conning the cast of Total Drama.” Eddy started bawling. “Now, to make money each day, we have to
show what’s under Double D’s hat, and you don’t want to know! You gotta ask city hall to give us a
new home!”
“Alright, alright.” Said Chief Bogo. “Just don’t show up here again unless it’s a real emergency.” Chip
then started to ask Gadget and Zipper something.
“Gadget, Zipper.” He began. “The Walt Disney Company is holding a 100th anniversary party at
FanCon this October, and Dale and I were selected as one of the top 100 Toons. Would you like to
join?”
“We’d love to join you,” Said Gadget. “But we may not be able to join the party. Raising 42 kids is
easier said than done.”
“Yeah, that’s too bad.” Said Zipper. “But maybe we could bring the kids. Speaking of which, I wonder
how Francis is doing. I better call him.”
—-----------------------------------------------
Back at the McFly/Hackwrench residence, Francis had finished putting the kids to sleep. Suddenly,
the close pin-sized telephone started ringing.
“Oh no.” Said the ladybug. “Not right now. I just finished putting the raisins to bed!” Regardless, he
picked up the phone and started speaking.
“Francis, is that you?” It was Zipper on the other line. “We were wondering how the kids were doing.”
“They were great!” Replied Francis. “I just put them to bed. Those little raisins do grow on you.”
“You know how Disney is celebrating its 100th anniversary at FanCon this October?” Asked Zipper.
“Yeah.” Answered Francis. “Why?”
“We’ll be bringing the kids with us.” Said Gadget. “Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but don’t
worry! There will be many more opportunities in the future.”
“Sorry to call you so late.” Said Zipper. “We’ll arrive back tomorrow morning.”
“Thanks for your time.” Said Francis, putting down the phone. “Yes!”
Author’s Notes: One of the cops in Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers is a CGI bird named
Officer O’Hara, who apparently got stuck to Captain Putty.
There was also a newt cop in the movie, though he wasn’t given a name.
The chinchilla, Officer DelGado, however, was a character I made specifically for the story.
I made this choice because, with a few exceptions like Pokemon, chinchillas are almost
non-existent in pop-culture, and these little guys need more love. They are endangered,
you know.
Angelica on the Rugrats loved cookies so much that she’d often order the babies to
steal some for her. She even had an addiction in one episode and tried quitting!
The DeVille twins holding back Angelica so she doesn’t get the cookies.
