Because it's so hot in Africa, it's home to many Fire and Ground-Type Pokemon, as well as four Fire-Type starters. It's also home to the Legendary Terrakion, one of the three 'Swords of Justice'.

The other two Swords, Cobalion and Verizion, will not appear in this world.
