After two days, Faba has finally finished working on Arceus.
“It’s complete!” He said. “Arceus can now switch between all 17 Plates without fail!”
“Great!” Said Giovanni. “Now to test it out.” Giovanni returned Arceus to its Poke Ball and brought it outside to test it out. A wild Dustox appeared, and Giovanni sent out the Alpha Pokémon. With a remote control, Giovanni switched Arceus’s Type from Normal to Dark, changing its wheel and hooves from yellow to black. Dustox used Psybeam, but there was no effect.
“Arceus!” Said Giovanni. “Use Flamethrower!” Arceus breathed intense fire at Dustox, and the Poison Moth Pokémon fainted. The other wild Pokémon looked at Giovanni and Arceus with horror.
“Anyone else want to test out my pet?” Asked Giovanni, and the other Pokémon just fled. “Well, Arceus? It’s time to announce our return!” He gave out a maniacal laugh while the fire spread through the forest.

Back in Kalos, after two exhausting days of training at the Battle Chateau and Restaurant Le Yeah, Joe has finally raised twelve Pokémon to take out Rainbow Rocket with: Lapras, Shiftry, Quagsire, Kricketune, Dedenne, Talonflame, Machamp, Aggron, Musharna, Gogoat, Bronzong, and Ditto. Suddenly, everyone rushed towards the Camphrier Town Pokémon Center.
“Where’s the fire?” He asked one of the runners.
“Team Rocket has returned!” He said. “And Giovanni has Arceus!” Everyone hurried over to the Pokémon Center to watch what was happening on TV.
“Attention, everyone!” Said Giovanni, who was on the TV. “This is Giovanni of Team Rainbow Rocket! That’s right, Team Rocket is back, badder than ever! In 36 hours, we will use Groudon, Kyogre, Xerneas, and Arceus to create four new planets, and after that, I will control yours! Our secret base is located somewhere in Sinnoh, but don’t bother! Our hideout is surrounded by an impenetrable force field! As for Red, Blue, and the rest of those goodie two-shoes, let’s say they’ve reunited with the powerful Mewtwo!” He then gave out an evil laugh before the TV was turned off.
“What could that mean?” Asked a citizen.
“He sent them to Cerulean Cave.” Joe replied. “That’s one of two locations where Mewtwo can be located. Someone needs to rescue those Trainers and teach Giovanni a lesson he’ll never forget! Who’s with me?” All the other citizens were too scared to face Team RR. “Fine. Be a bunch of Wimpod. I’m going to rescue them myself and save the world!” Joe exited the building, sent out Talonflame, and flew to Kanto to rescue the Super-Strong Seven.

Meanwhile, outside of Cerulean Cave, the Super-Strong Seven had just got out of the cave. They have survived on nothing but Krabby for two days, but in return, caught the Genetic Pokémon, Mewtwo.
“How about we just give up?” Asked Hau. “I wouldn’t mind being a slave under Giovanni’s rule, as long as he doesn’t ban Malasadas!”
“Nobody’s giving up.” Said a voice, who was walking towards the seven Trainers.
“Joseph?” Asked Steven. “Aren’t your parents the creators of that Rare Candy formula?”
“Yes.” Replied Joe. “But you can call me Joe. I have been searching for hours to find you, and we are the only ones who can save the world, and more importantly, the Legendaries. Besides, didn’t you just catch Mewtwo? You were in Cerulean Cave, after all.”
“Yes, but I get to keep it!” Said Blue.
“With Mewtwo on our side and powerful Pokémon like Hydreigon, Metagross, Charizard, and Tyranitar, we’ll be able to defeat the strongest of Ultra Beasts! Metaphorically speaking, of course.”
“Joseph’s right.” Said Lance. “We are going to Eterna Forest, break into the RR hideout, and save the Legendaries! Like I said a few days ago, no time to waste!” The eight Trainers then flew off to Sinnoh to save the Legendaries.
