Rise of Rainbow Rocket Chapter 7

Red and Blue, along with other strong Trainers like Iris, Steven, Cynthia, and Hau, were at the Indigo Plateau speaking to Lance.

“Right now,” He started. “Giovanni has Kyogre, Groudon, and the Azure Flute at his disposal. With those powerful Legendaries and the all-powerful Arceus, he will be unstoppable! It’s up to us seven to defeat Giovanni and his new band of lackeys to save the Legendaries. We know that Giovanni is not in Kanto or Johto, and that leaves six other Regions he could possibly be in. Do any of you know where he might have his new hideout?”

“I’ve been noticing suspicious activity in Eterna Forest.” Said Cynthia. “Perhaps he made his new hideout at the Old Chateau.”

“Eterna Forest?” Lance asked. “That’s preposterous! That’s unlikely! That’s… the only other location he could be hiding. You’re a genius, Cynthia! No time to waste, ladies and gentlemen! Off to Eterna Forest, Sinnoh!”

With Giovanni, Archie, and Lysandre searching for Xerneas, Maxie was left behind to guard their hideout in Eterna Forest with many new recruits. The trio soon arrived at the entrance to the Max Lair at Slippery Slope, Galar. They were greeted by a hiker in a red jacket.

“Hello, there!” He said. “I’m Peony! Would you like to participate in a Dynamax Adventure?”

“A what?” Asked Maxie.

“Dynamax Adventure!” Replied Peony. “It’s when four trainers explore the Max Lair, which is up ahead, and fight Giant Pokémon! If you’re lucky enough, you might even see a Legendary or two! There are only three of you, so do you want me to join you?”

“Okay.” Giovanni said reluctantly.

“Great!” Shouted Peony. “Let's move out!” The quartet entered the Lair and ended up in a fork in the road.

“There’s a fork in the road!” Said Leony. “Which path would you like to take? Grass or Fighting?”

“Grass.” Said Lysandre. “Grass has the most weaknesses: Fire, Ice, Bug, Flying, and Poison. Luckily, I have a strong Fire-Type Pokémon with me.”

“Okay!” Said Leony. “Grass, it is!” The quartet entered the Grass road and encountered a 100-foot tall Tsareena!

“Go, Pyroar!” Said Lysandre, and Pyroar was sent out. “Pyroar, use Overheat!” Pyroar attacked the Fruit Pokémon at full power, but also harshly lowered the Royal Pokémon's Special Attack. Tsareena tried using Stomp on Pyroar, but it luckily dodged her giant foot.

“Pyroar!” Said Lysandre. “Use Fire Blast!” Pyroar attacked Tsareena with an intense blast of all-consuming fire, and even left her with a burn. Unfortunately for them, Tsareena still had 30% of her HP left, and Stomped Pyroar like a Bug-Type.

“Oh, no!” Said Lysandre, returning Pyroar to his Poke Ball. “What should we do next?”

“Don’t worry, guys.” Said Giovanni. “Like I said, I have a Steel-Type Pokémon. Go, Steelix!” Steelix was sent out.

“Steelix!” Said Giovanni. “Use Ice Fang!” Steelix bit on Tsareena’s foot with cold-infused fangs, and the Fruit Pokémon fell like a great tree.

“That was difficult.” Said Archie. “I just hope we don’t fight any other giant Pokémon aside from Xerneas."

Joe arrived on Route 14 in Kalos and sent out Gogoat to search for Quagsire. After walking in the swamp for a while, a wild Quagsire popped out.

“Gogoat!” Said Joe. “Use Horn Leech!” Gogoat drained Quagsire’s energy with his horns, and the Water Fish Pokémon fainted.

“Great!” Said Joe. “Now to throw a Net Ball at it!” Joe threw a Net Ball at Quagsire, and after a few seconds of wobbling, the Ball clicked.

“It’s just like playing a game of Bingo!” Said Joe, pulling out his list. “What’s next?” Joe looked at the list and made his next decision. “I’ll catch Ditto next!” Suddenly, Joe’s phone rang. When he answered the number, it was the Daycare Couple.

“Hello?” One of them said. It was the husband. “Is this Joseph?”

“Yes, it’s me!” Said Joe.

“We’re happy to tell you that Meditite is now Medicham!” The husband declared. “Come get it immediately!”

“Okay!” Said Joe. He returned Gogoat to his Poke Ball and sent out Talonflame to ride to Route 7.
