Back in Haina Desert, Alola, Archie, Maxie, and Lysandre we’re still tied together with vines. Suddenly, they saw Arceus flying through the sky!
“Is that Arceus?” Asked Maxie. “I wonder what he’s here for?” The police then approached the criminals.
“You are under arrest for robbery, capturing and harming Legendaries without a permit, and setting a Forest on fire.” Said the cop. “All three of you, along with Giovanni, will be sentenced to a lifetime in jail. Hope you like potatoes, because that’s all you’ll eat in prison.” Giovanni was still running away from the Gabite and tripped over the trio.
“Why can’t it be that bad guys finish last?” He asked himself.

The next day, Joe woke up in a hotel in Eterna City, Sinnoh, and was woken up by a phone call. Joe looked to his phone and saw who was calling, and it was Jade.
“Joseph!” She said. “Look at the TV! There’s a new Region to explore!” Joe turned on the TV to see what was up.
“This is Gabby of PNN, here again with breaking news!” She said. “The new Region, Chuso, is sprawling with new Pokémon, new Gyms, and the best feature of all, being able to hold SEVEN Pokemon at a time instead of just six. Tyler and I are hyped to learn about this new gimmick.” Joe turned off the TV so he could get along with his day. After having his breakfast and brushing his teeth, Joe heard another phone call, and it was from Birch.
“Did you hear the news, Joseph?” He asked.
“Yes I have, already.” Joe replied. “There’s a new Region called Chuso.”
“I know!” Replied Birch. “Are you gonna explore it and catch new species?”
“No thanks.” Said Joe. “Besides, I still have to register 200 Pokémon species and defeat both Brendan and May! Right now, I only have 74 species.”
“Oh yeah, about that.” Said Birch. “If you want to beat Brendan, you have to fight the Elite Four first in Ever Grande City, but you need the Eight Hoenn Gym Badges, first."
“No problem!” Said Joe. “After I register 200 Pokémon species, I’ll fight the Gym Leaders. If I was able to beat Giovanni, I should be more than able to beat them!”
“Okay.” Said Birch. “But be warned: They know that you beat Rainbow Rocket, so they’ll be stronger than usual. Will you be up for the challenge?”
“Yes, I will!” Said Joe, and he set out on Talonflame to Fly back to Kalos to catch more Pokémon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s been three months, and Joe has finally registered 200 Pokémon species and beat the Hoennese Gym Leaders. He also trained many new species like Togedemaru, Alolan Raticate, Galarian Rapidash, and Lucario. After fighting many strong Trainers in Victory Road, Joe had finally made it to Ever Grande City, where Hoenn’s Pokémon League resides. The first Trainer he faced was Sidney, and while he used Dark-Type Pokémon, he wasn’t really evil.
“Well, if it isn’t the kid who beat Rainbow Rocket and saved the all-mighty Arceus.” He said. “Nice to meet you. The name’s Sidney, and as you probably know, you have to fight me and three other Trainers if you want to meet Brendan. Go, Mightyena!” Mightyena was sent out.
“I choose you!” Said Joe. “Lucario!” Lucario was sent out.
“Lucario!” Said Joe. “Use Aura Sphere!” Lucario let loose a blast of aura energy and fired it at Mightyena, making it lose half his HP.
“Mightyena!” Said Sidney. “Use Fire Fang!” Mightyena lit his fangs on fire and tried to bite Lucario, but the Aura Pokémon was too quick.
“Lucario!” Said Joe. “Use Aura Sphere again!” Lucario let loose another blast of aura energy and fired it at Mightyena, knocking him out.
“Not bad.” Said Sidney, returning the Bite Pokémon to his Poke Ball. “Go, Sharpedo!” Sharpedo was sent out.
“That was excellent, Lucario!” Said Joe, returning Lucario to his Poke Ball. “Go, Togedemaru!” Togedemaru was sent out.
“Togedemaru!” Said Joe. “Use Zing Zap!” A strong electric blast crashed down on Sharpedo, giving him an electric shock and leaving the Brutal Pokémon with half his HP.
“Sharpedo!” Said Joe. “Use Surf!” Sharpedo summoned a tidal wave that swept up Togemaru. Luckily, there were drains in every corner of the room in case a move like Surf or Hydro Cannon was used, and the water subsided within seconds. As for Togedemaru, he still had 70% of his HP left.
“Togedemaru!” Said Joe. “Use Discharge!” Togedemaru let loose a flare of electricity so strong that it knocked out Sharpedo.
“You’re stronger than I thought.” Said Sidney, returning Sharpedo to his Poke Ball. “Go, Cacturne!” Cacturne was sent out.
“”That was great, Togedemaru!” Said Joe, returning the Roly-Poly Pokémon to his Poke Ball. “Go, Talonflame!” Talonflame was sent out.
“Talonflame!” Said Joe. “Use Flamethrower!” Talonflame breathed very hot flames at Cacturne, and the Scarecrow Pokémon fainted.
“Cacturne didn’t even land a hit!” Said Sidney, returning the Grass-Type Pokémon to his Poke Ball. “Go, Crawdaunt!” Crawdaunt was sent out.
“Excellent job, Talonflame!” Said Joe, returning the Scorching Pokémon to her Poke Ball. “Go,
“Togedemaru!” Said Joe. “Use Zing Zap!” A strong electric blast crashes down on Crawdaunt, giving him an electric shock and leaving the Rogue Pokémon with half his HP.
“Crawdaunt!” Said Sidney. “Use Crab Hammer!” Crawdaunt hit Togedemaru with his mighty claw, which unfortunately was a critical hit, making the Roly-Poly Pokémon faint. However, Togedemaru’s Iron Barbs damaged Crawdaunt a little.
“That’s okay, Togedemaru.” Said Joe, returning the Roly-Poly Pokémon to his Poke Ball. “I’ll heal you after this battle. Go, Lucario!” Lucario was sent out.
“Lucario!” Said Joe. “Use Force Palm!” Lucario attacked Crawdaunt with a shock wave from his paw, and the Rogue Pokémon fainted.
“Luckily, my next Pokémon has attacks to counter Fighting-Types.” Said Sidney, returning Crawdaunt to his Poke Ball. “Go, Absol!” Absol was sent out.
“Lucario!” Said Joe. “Use Aura Sphere!” Lucario let loose a blast of aura energy and fired it at Absol, making it lose half his HP.
“Absol!” Said Sidney. “Use Psycho Cut!” Absol tore at Lucario with blades formed from his psychic power, but thanks to Lucario’s Steel/Fighting Typing, he didn’t take much damage.
“Done and done!” Replied Joe, who healed his Pokémon and went to the next room.
