Muppets Inc Chapter 4

When Marc and Splurge finally made it to Muppets Inc, everyone was  greeting the two Muppets. On the "Scarer of the Month" wall, two Muppet janitors named Beauregard and Lindbergh were hanging one of the pictures, which happened to have Splurge in all of them. Lindbergh was a kiwi while Beauregard was.......a Muppet.

"Hey, fellas." Said Splurge as he walked by the janitors.

"He, Mr. Splurgenson!" Greeted Lindbergh.

"Guys, I told you." Said the big purple Muppet. "Call me Splurge."

"I don't think so." Said Beauregard.

"We just wanted to wish you good luck today." Said Lindbergh.

"Get lost, you two." Marc intervened. "You're making him lose his focus."

"Oh, sorry." Said Lindbergh.

"See you later, fellas." Said Splurge, as he walked away.

"Go get 'Em, Mr. Splurgenson!" Said Beauregard.

"Quiet!" Said Lindbergh. "You're making him lose his focus.

"Oh, sorry." Apologized Beauregard.

"Shut up!" Prompted Lindbergh, putting his wings on Beauregard. Marc and Splurge walked to the front desk, where Marc's girlfriend Miss Piggy worked.

"Schmoopsie-poo?" Said Marc.

"Googley-bear!" Said Piggy.

"Happy birthday." He said.

"Oh, Marky, you remembered!" Piggy squealed with delight (no pun intended). "Hello, Splurge."

"Hi, Piggy." Said Splurge with a flustered look on his face. "Happy birthday."

"Thank you." Responded Piggy. "Marky, are we going anywhere special?"

"Just a reservation at a little place called 'Finmiddag'." Answered Marc.

"Finmiddag?!" Asked Piggy with a surprised voice. "But that's impossible."

"Not for Googley Bear. I'll see you at quitting time!" Said Mike, as he began to sing. "You and me, me and you, both of us together!"

Marc and Splurge were now in the locker room. Marc put a contact on his one eye and closed his locker door. However, when he looked again, it was open. Suddenly, a green reptilian Muppet appeared right in front of Marc, prompting him to scream. That was Lenny the Lizard.

"It scares little kids and little Muppets." Said Lenny.

"I wasn't scared." Lied Marc. "I have allergies." He then faked a cough.

"Hey, Lenny," Said Splurge. "Save it for the scare floor, will you?"

"I'm in the zone today, Splurgenson." Said Lenny. "Going to do some serious scaring, putting up some big numbers."

"Wow, Lenny. That's great." Said Marc in a sarcastic tone. "That should be more humiliating when we break the record first." Lenny slithered towards Marc and shushed him.

"Did you hear that?" Said Lenny. "It's the winds of change." After he walked away, Marc mocked the lizard Muppet.

"What a creep." Said Marc. "One of these days, I am really going to let you teach that guy a lesson."
Author's Notes: Beauregard was the dim-witted janitor of the Muppet Theater, starting in Season 3 of The Muppet Show. He was voiced by Gonzo himself, Dave Goelz.

Lindbergh was a kiwi who appeared on The Jim Henson Hour. He was a bit of a replacement for Beauregard.
 
'Finmiddag' is Swedish for 'nice diner'.
