The next day on October 10th, the modern Cartoon Network troops started practicing their skills and fighting techniques. Finn started testing his new sword, which is a bit like a fencing sword, on Anton, a piece of toast. Thankfully, because Anton gets killed nearly every day, his parents know how to make a new Anton with a toaster. Finn would also practice on a Holo-Pearl, since he knew his opponent was going to use a sword as well.
Marceline and Flame Princess were fighting video game characters from BMO, such as Bouncy Bee, Honey Bunny, Sleepy Sam, and, from a completely different video game, Claw the Badger.
Jake the Dog and Penny Fitzgerald were fighting each other, since both of them were capable of changing their shape. Since Jake could take on almost any shape and size, he seemed to have the upper hand. While they were fighting, KO was practicing on Bobby, who was luckily wearing lots of armor. As if on cue, Bonnibel Bubblegum arrived on the scene.
“Which one of you is Kaio O. Kincaid?” She said.
“That’s me!” Exclaimed KO, running over to the candy princess.
“Please be careful.” Said Bonnibel, carrying a small box. “I have a very expensive pill on hand.”
“A pill?” Asked KO.
“You have a repressed dark side inside your mind.” She said. “With this pill, you will have total control of your dark side, Turbo KO, for 24 hours. Make sure you use it responsibly and ONLY when you’re on Nameless Island. Since you’re only between 6 to 11 years of age, I will give this to someone who’s more responsible.” She then blew a whistle, and a motorcycle without a rider sped by, only to transform into a mighty deer.
"Alan Dracula." Bonnibel told the deer. "You have every power one can imagine, but all you really want is grass. Can you use your powers to protect this box? If you do, I'll give you give candy grass grown outside my castle." Alan Dracula drooled lava, and he transformed his chest into a drawer. Bonnibel opened the drawer, placed the box in it, and the drawer shut tight.
"Good deer!" Said Bonnibel as she started scratching Alan Dracula's chin. She then turned towards KO. "If you want Alan Dracula to be summoned, just hold this grass and shout the deer's name." She put the candy grass in a plastic bag and handed it to KO.
"Could I have a piece of candy grass, two?" Asked KO.
"Only after the war is over." Answered Bonnibel.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Gems were talking to Steven to see if he was ready to refuse into Obsidian.
"Are you confident about this, Steven?" Connie asked.
"Of course, I am." Said Steven. "During the summer, we managed to train Lapis, Peridot, Spinel, and even Lars to be Crystal Gem Stand-Ins while we’re gone. We also freed Bismuth so she could be a Crystal Gem, too! I also managed to form fusions with Ruby, Sapphire, Pearl, Garnet, and even Opal! But not all at the same time."
"Do you really think you're ready, Steven?" Asked Pearl.
"You know I am." Answered Steven with confidence. He, Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst started performing an elaborate dance. Luckily, Steven has been practicing a lot this summer on fusion dances. After their dance was over, a large ball of light engulfed the Gems. After 45 seconds, a 180-foot tall eight-armed woman was formed. She had gray skin, black markings on all 8 arms, and gorgeous purple hair with stars in them. She was Obsidian 2.5.
"Who are we?" Asked Steven's voice from the main face.
"We have formed Obsidian." Said Garnet's voice, coming from the mask. "We are the same fusion that saved Dewey's ship crew over 300 years ago."
"You mean that we're the same fusion that was represented in the play?" Asked Steven's voice.
"Of course we are!" Said Amethyst's voice, also coming from the mask. "Sugilite was too bloodthirsty, Alexandrite would scare the daylights out of everyone, Sardonyx would act snobby, and the other fusions are too small." Obsidian started looking at themselves in wonder, and they looked perfect.
"Congratulations, Steven." Said Pearl's voice, also coming from the mask. "You are a true Crystal Gem. Your mom would be very proud."
"I do have a question." Said Steven's voice. "How come Obsidian looks so different from last time?"
“It must be because you tamed your inner beast.” Said Garnet’s voice.
"Can we unfuse now?" Asked Pearl's voice. "I always said Gem fusions should only be used for emergencies only, didn't I?" The four of them then unfused back into Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven. Everyone else stared at the Gems and half-Gem in awe.
"How did you do that?" Asked Finn.
"I get it from my mom." Answered Steven. "She was a war veteran."
For those not keeping up with Gumball, Penny is actually not a peanut, but a fairy who can transform into any animal, but still retain her antlers. When the show first premiered in May 2011, she looked like this.
However, starting with the Season 3 episode 'The Shell', which aired October 2014, her shell cracked, and her true form was revealed. Penny felt she looked hideous, but Gumball still loved her for who she truly was. She now looks like this.
On Craig of the Creek, Craig Williams loves Slide the Ferret, a riff on Sonic the Hedgehog. One of the characters in the 'Slide' franchise is a badger named Claw, who's a parody of Knuckles the Echidna. Since there are no good pictures of Claw that are not fan art, here's a picture of Slide the Ferret in all his glory.
For those unfamiliar, Book 2 of Infinity Train had a character named Alan Dracula, a magic shapeshifting deer who's best described as a cross between Jake the Dog from Adventure Time and Kevin from Up. He accompanied Lake (Tulip's reflection) as she went on a journey of self-discovery alongside the Scott Denoga-esuqe teenage boy Jesse. Alan Dracula's many powers include shapeshifting, color changing, laser vision, shrinking or growing to almost any size, and freeze breath.
