Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 1

This story is going to make references to the confusing Pokemon Type Match-Ups. Here's a helpful picture below.

In the oceans of Hoenn, right next to Ever Grande City, there was a coral reef inhabited by many tropical Water-Type Pokemon. Two Luvdisc lived in a Corsola, and were admiring the ocean view.

"Wow." Said the male Luvdisc.

"Mmm." Said the female Luvdisc.

"Wow." Said the male Luvdisc.

"Mm-hmm." Said the female Luvdisc.

"Wow". Said the male Luvdisc.

"Yes, Marlon. I see it." Said the female Luvdisc.

"So, Ai," Started Marlon. "When you said you wanted an ocean view, you didn't think you'd get the whole ocean, did you?" He swam out of the Corsola and took a deep breath. "A fish can breathe out here. Did your man deliver, or did he deliver?"

"My man delivered." Answered Ai.

"And it wasn't so easy." Stated Marlon, as he swam back to the Corsola.

"Because a lot of other Luvdisc have their eyes on this place." Said Ai.

"You better believe they did." Stated Marlon. "Every single one of them."

"You did good." Said Ai. She grabbed Marlon's fin and took him out of the Corsola. "And the neighborhood is awesome." They looked at the reef and saw many fish Pokemon having fun and being happy. Marlon then glanced at Ai.

"So, you do like it, don't you?" He asked.

"No, no. I do. I do." Answered Ai. "I really do like it. But Marlon, I know that Route 127 is desirable, with the great schools and the amazing views, but do we really need this much space?"

"Ai, honey." Said Marlon. "These are our kids we're talking about. They deserve the best. Look, look, look." He then went back in the Corsola. "They'll wake up, poke their little heads out, and they see a Wailmer! Right outside their bedroom window."

"Shh." Said Ai. "You'll wake the kids."

"Oh, right." Said Marlon. Both of them swam to an underwater cave that held hundreds of pink eggs with magenta linings around them.

"Aw." Said Ai. "They're dreaming. We still have to name them."

"You want to name all of them right now?" Asked Marlon. "All right. We'll name the boys Marlon Junior and the girls Ai Junior. Okay, we're done." Marlon swam out of the cave.

"I like Rakki." Said Ai. "Short for Rakkīfin. That means ‘lucky fin.’" Marlon swam back to cave.

"Rakki?" Questioned Marlon. "Okay, we'll name one Rakki, but I'd like most of my boys to be Marlon Junior."

"Just think." Said Ai. "In a couple of days, we're going to be parents!"

"Yeah." Replied Marlon. "But what if they don't like me?"

"Marlon." Started Ai. "There are over 400 eggs. Chances are one of them is bound to like you." She swam between Corsola's spines. Marlon came in with a smug look on his face.

"You remember how we met?" He asked.

"I try not to." Answered Ai.

"Well, I remember." Said Marlon. "Excuse me, miss. 'Can you check and see if I have a hook in my lip?'" The two Luvdisc started chasing each other. When Marlon popped out of the coral Pokemon, everyone was gone except for the two Luvdisc, the Corsola, and a Binacle. Ai was starring wide-eyed and jaw-dropped. Suddenly, Marlon looked at the same direction as Ai, and they saw a Gyarados! It was hungry, and the only protection was inside a Corsola.

"Ai, get inside the house." Said Marlon. Ai then looked down to the cave where the eggs were kept.

"No, sweety. Don't." Warned Marlon. They'll be fine. Just get inside. Right now." Regardless, Ai swam down to the cave, and the Gyarados followed in pursuit. Marlon came in and battled the Atrocious Pokemon. However, Gyarados used Dragon Tail on the heart-shaped Pokemon, sending him flying and knocking Marlon unconscious. When he woke up, the Gyarados was gone, but Ai and the eggs were gone as well. Marlon swam down to the cave and saw no eggs. When he swam out, the Luvdisc started crying. Suddenly, he saw an egg lying in the sand. It had some small cracks, but it was okay.

"There, there." Said Marlon, holding the egg in his fins. "Daddy's here. I promise I will never let anything happen to you, Rakki."
Author's Notes: Marlon is named after the Water-Type Gym Leader in Pokemon Black and White 2, Marlon.

Ai, or 愛, means 'love' in Japanese.
I also have some sad unrelated news: On April 3rd, I will delete Steven and Phoebe, but don't worry! I will remake it with some minor changes. It will be posted on May 7th.
