The next
morning back at Slateport, the tank was covered with algae.
"Look
at it. Just, look at it." Yasei said to Rakki. "Filthy. Absolutely
filthy. That's all thanks to you, kid. You made it all possible." He then
looked at Arnaldo cleaning a spot. "Arnaldo! I said no cleaning!"
"I am
ashamed." Replied Arnaldo, who now donned an algae mustache. On another
side of the tank, Ruby was making scum angels.
"Look!"
She said. "Scum angels!" Redeye, however, being a germaphobe, was
rather nervous. He was grossed out and scared by everything in the tank. Tate
was also searching for her sister 'Liza'. Bloat was rubbing against the floor
and eat a piece of floating algae, and Redeye found it revolting.
"Bloat!"
He said. "That's disgusting!"
"Tastes
pretty good to me." Replied Bloat, giving out a loud belch.
"Eww."
Said Redeye. "Don't you people realize we are swimming in our own..."
May then walked into the building and noticed the status of the tank.
"Oh,
Arceus." She said. "What a state. Daisuke! What's my earliest
appointment tomorrow?"
"10:00 AM, May." Said Daisuke, her secretary.
"How come?"
"I
have to clean the Water-Type tank before Kiki gets here." She said. Upon
hearing that, the fish cheered.
"Did
you hear that, Sharpedo Bait?" Said Yasei.
"Yes!"
Answered Rakki with glee. "She's gonna clean the tank! She's gonna clean
the tank! We're gonna be clean!" Rakki popped out of a fake coral and was
covered in algae.
"You
ready to see your father, kid?" Asked Yasei.
"Uh-huh."
Replied Rakki.
"Of course you do." Said Yasei. The
both of them swam to the window. "I wouldn't be surprised if he's out
there in the harbor looking for you right now.""

A couple
miles away from Slateport, the Wailord that swallowed Marlon and Waseri was
swimming without a care in the world. Inside him, Waseri was having the time of
her life, while Marlon was trying to break through its teeth.
"Here
comes the big one!" Said Waseri. "Come on! You gotta try this!"
"Will
you just stop it?" Yelled Marlon.
"Why,
what's wrong?" Asked Waseri.
"We're
in a Wailord, don't you get it?"
"A
Wailord?"
"A
Wailord! Because you had to ask for help! And now we're stuck here!"
"Wow,
a Wailord. You know, I speak Wailord."
"No,
you're insane! You can't speak Wailord! I have to get out! I have to find my
son! I gotta tell him how old Blastoise are!" After butting into the teeth
for the umpteenth time, Marlon collapsed on the Wailord's tongue. Waseri swam
over and tried cheering him up.
"There,
there." She said. "It's all right. It'll be okay."
"No."
Said Marlon. "No, it won't."
"Sure
it will." Said Waseri. "You'll see."
"No."
Said Marlon. "I promised him I'd never let anything happen to him."
"Huh."
Replied Waseri. "That's a funny thing to promise."
"What?"
Asked Marlon.
"You
can't never let anything happen to him." Said Waseri. "Then nothing
would ever happen to him." Marlon then looked at Waseri. "Not much
fun for little Rocky." Marlon and Waseri then started hearing loud creaks.
"What's
going on?" Asked Marlon.
"Don't
know." Answered Waseri. "I'll ask him. Mwwwaaa? Whaaat's gooing
onnn?" The Wailord then moaned. "I think he said we stopped."
"Of
course we've stopped." Said Marlon. "Stop trying to speak Wailord.
You'll make things worse." The two of them then heard draining.
"What's that noise?" Marlon then noticed that the Wailord's mouth
started draining.
"Oh,
no." Said Marlon. "Look what you did. The water's going down. It's
going down!"
"Really?"
Asked Waseri. "You sure about that?"
"Look!"
Said Marlon. "Already it's half empty!"
"I'd
say it's half full." Said Waseri.
"Stop
that!" Snapped Marlon. "It's half empty!" The Wailord then
groaned again.
"Okay,"
Said Waseri. "That one was a little tougher. He either said we should go
to the back of the throat, or he wants a root beer float."
"Of
course he wants us to go there!" Said Marlon. "That's eating
us!" Marlon then started rubbing his body against a taste bud. "How
do I taste, Moby? Do I taste good? Tell him I'm not interested in being
lunch!"
"Okay."
Said Waseri. "Heee-"
Stop
talking to him!" The Wailord then flicked his tongue up, and Marlon and
Waseri started hanging from two separate taste buds.
"What's
going on?" Asked Marlon.
"I'll
check." Said Waseri. "Whaaat-"
"No
more Wailord!" Demanded Marlon. "You can't speak Wailord! You think
you can do these things, but you can't, Rakki!" The Wailord groaned again,
and Waseri let go of the taste bud, but Marlon grabbed her.
"He
says it's time to let go." She said. "Everything's gonna be all
right."
"How
do you know?" Marlon asked. "How do you know nothing bad isn't gonna
happen?"
"I
don't." Replied Waseri. Marlon looked down, hoped for the best, let go,
and the Wailord discarded the Luvdisc and Seaking through its blowhole. Marlon
felt happy that they got out.
"Ha
ha ha!" He said. "We're alive!" The two then went to the surface
and discovered something: They were now in Slateport!
"You
were right, Waseri!" Said Marlon. "We're gonna find my son!" As
the Wailord swam away from civilization, Marlon decided to thank the Float Whale Pokémon for his help.
"Thaaank
yoouuu, sirrr!" He said.
"Wow.
I wish I could speak Wailord." Said Waseri, and she and Marlon decided to
search the harbor for Rakki.
