Meanwhile, in Slateport Harbor, Marlon and Waseri were still looking for the boat that took Rakki.

"Do any of these boats look familiar to you?" Asked Waseri.

"No," Relied Marlon. "But the boat has to be here somewhere. Come on, Waseri. We're gonna find it." Waseri, however, was getting quite sleepy.

"I'm totally excited." She said with exhaustion. "Are you excited?"

"Waseri, wake up." Said Marlon. "Wake up, come on." Waseri then noticed a hungry bird Pokemon.

"Duck!" She said.                

"That's not a Psyduck." Said Marlon. "It's a Pelipper!" The Water Bird Pokemon scooped both of them up with its bill, but Marlon wasn't ready to give up, so he held his fins against the Pelipper's throat so it wouldn't swallow him and Waseri. This caused the Pelipper to choke. A flock of Pelipper near the Slateport Pawn Shop couldn't help but notice. Gulliver was in that flock

"Hey, Gulliver." Said a Pelipper. "Would you look at that? The sun's barely up, and Jonathan already had more than he can handle."

"Yeah." Said Gulliver. "Somebody has to help the poor guy."

"Yeah, right. Yeah." Said the other Pelipper with sarcastic tones. "Don't everybody fly off at once." Gulliver flew over to Jonathan to help him out. "What's the matter, Johnny? Skitty got your tongue?" Jonathan opened his bill to reveal a Luvdisc and a Seaking holding onto his tongue!

"Love of Muk!" Exclaimed Gulliver. He performed a Heimlich on Johnny and he spat out the two fish Pokemon.

"I gotta find my son Rakki!" Gulliver then found out who that Luvdisc was.

"Rakki?" Went Gulliver. "He's that fish! You know, the one who's been fighting the whole ocean!" While Gulliver was talking, Marlon and Waseri flopped across the wooden platform to get back in the water.

"Hey, wait! Come back!" Said Gulliver. "Stop! I know where your son is!"

"Waseri, keep going!" Warned Marlon, who was still struggling to get back in the water. "He's crazy!"

"I got something to tell you!" Said Gulliver. Suddenly, a drop of poop fell from above. It was a Pidove, a whole flock of them.

"Mine." Said one of them.

"Don't make any sudden moves." Gulliver whispered to the two fish Pokemon. "Hop inside my mouth if you want to live."

"Hop in your mouth?" Hesitated Marlon. "How would that make me live?"

"Because I can take you to your son." Said Gulliver.

"Yeah, right." Said Marlon.

"No, I know your son." Said Gulliver. "He's pink with a gimpy fin on one side."

"That's Rakki!" Shouted Marlon, but it soon caught the attention of the Pidove flock. Gulliver scooped up Marlon and Waseri with his bill and filled it up with water.

"Fasten your seat belts!" Said Gulliver, as he flew across the city being chased by Pidove.

Back at the Trainer's School, Kiki was in the waiting room poking at the tank, unaware that it was scaring the Pokemon.

"Too loud!" Said Baburu. "Too loud for me!"

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star." Sang Kiki, poking at Ruby. Daisuke opened the door to tell Kiki about her next class, which will be about Pokemon stats.

"Kiki," He said. "Your auntie May will see you now!" Kiki then walked into May's classroom and sat at a desk.

"Can I get my present, now?" Asked Kiki.

"Not quite yet, Kiki." Said May. "First, we have to learn about a Pokemon's stats. However, I'll get the present ready for you." However, when May saw Rakki in his Poké Ball, he was upside-down.

"He's dead." Said Bloat.

"Sharpedo Bait!" Exclaimed Yasei. However, Rakki gave Yasei a wink, giving him a clue as to what will come. "He's still alive!" May started walking towards the bathroom.

"He's not dead!" Said Ruby.

"What's happening?" Asked Bloat. "Why is he playing dead?"

"He's gonna get flushed down the toilet." Explained Yasei. "He's gonna get flushed!"

"He's gonna get flushed!" Said Bloat.

"What a smart little guy!" Said Redeye. However, May turned around and was heading towards a hungry Swalot.

"Oh, no." Said Yasei. "Not the Swalot disposal!" Gulliver flew in with Marlon and Waseri still in his bill.

"Hey, hey!" He said. "I found his dad!"

"Where's Rakki?" Asked Marlon.

"He's with May!" Said Yasei.

"Who's May?" Asked Marlon. "What is that?" He then spotted May holding Rikki in a Poké Ball. "Gulliver, get in there!"

"I can't go in there!" Said the pelican Pokémon.

"Yes you can!" Said Marlon. "Charge!" He pulled on Gulliver's tongue and he flew into the classroom chasing May. When the Pelipper hit May, she dropped the Poké Ball containing Rakki and it landed on a table. However, it didn't break. When Marlon and Waseri saw Rakki, he was dead. Or at least, that's what Rakki wanted the humans to think.

"Gotcha!" Said May. "Raichu, use Shock Wave!" Raichu elected Gulliver, Marlon, and Waseri, and the Pelipper flew out. However, before Gulliver fled, Marlon shouted his son's name.

"Daddy?" Asked Rakki, still inside the Poké Ball. Kiki, still thinking that Rakki croaked, held the Poké Ball towards her.

"Fishy?" She asked. "Wake up! Wake up! Why are you sleeping?" She started the Poké Ball, and Yasei thought of a plan.

"Quick! He said. "To the top of Mount Solgaleo!" Yasei lodged himself inside the plastic volcano, Bloat inflated to adjust the volcano's aim, and Arnaldo ran on the wheel that operates Mount Solgaleo. The volcano launched Yasei out of the tank and landed on Kiki. Rakki's Poké Ball finally broke on a table, and Yasei hopped onto the table Rikki was on.

"Yasei!" Said Rikki.

"Sharpedo Bait," Said Yasei weakly, as he was still a fish, and therefore needed water. "Tell your dad I said hi." He whacked Rakki with his dorsal fin and sent him flying to the bathroom. The toilet flushed, and Rakki finally escaped. When May recognized Yasei outside his tank, she put him back in with the help of her Tropius.

"He did it!" Cheered everyone.

"Is he gonna be okay, Yasei?" Asked Redeye.

"Don't worry." Said Yasei. "All drains lead to the ocean."

"Fishy!" Said Kiki with remorse.

"Don't worry, Kiki." Said May. "I have another Pokemon for you. It's a Goomy." May then held out a large slug-like Pokemon in her hands. "He may not be a Water-Type Pokemon like you wanted, but it's something even better: a Dragon-Type! Besides, there are approximately 46 Water-Type Pokemon native to Hoenn. Now, would you make your parents and aunt proud and become the best Pokemon Trainer Hoenn has yet seen?"

"I will, auntie May." Said Kiki.

"Just remember to bring this book on what you need to know about catching your own Pokemon and battling them!" Said May, giving Kiki a rather large text book.

Back in the fish tank, the fish wanted to know how they were going to get out now.

"How are we gonna escape now?" Asked Redeye. Yasei then looked at Ruby.

"What does the Pokédex say about Porygon2, Ruby?" He asked.

"It says Porygon2 is Normal," Saud the Starmie. "And Normal-Type Pokemon are weak against Fighting-Type attacks! Yasei, you know a Fighting-Type attack, right?"

"I sure do." Replied the Alomomola. "Tonight, I'll give this Pokemon a good slap in the face."
Author's Note: Don't worry about Marlon, Waseri, and Gulliver. He has a Wacan Berry stored in his bill, which weakens Electric-Type moves.
