Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 10

Little Lost Luvdisc Chapter 10

Meanwhile, Marlon was on the back of a Blastoise.
"Dude." Said the turtle Pokémon. "Dude. Focus, dude." Marlon opened his eyes. "He lives, hey dude!"
"What happened?" Asked an exhausted Marlon.
"Saw the whole thing, dude." Said the Blastoise. "First, you were all, like, 'Whoa!', and then we were all, like, 'Whoa!', and then you were, like 'Whoa'."
"What are you talking about?" Asked Marlon.
"You, heart man." Said Sam, the Blastoise. "Taking on the jellies. You got serious thrill issues, dude."
"Mr. Blastoise?" Asked Marlon.
"Whoa, dude." Interrupted the Blastoise. "Mr. Blastoise is my father. The name's Sam."
"Sam? Really?" Asked Marlon. "Okay, Sam. I need to get to the West Hoenn Current. WHC?"
"Oh, dude." Laughed Sam. "You're riding it, dude! Check it out!" Marlon looked behind him and saw lots of Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise. He, and possibly Waseri, were now in the WHC.
"Grab a shell, dude!" Said Sam.
"Grab wh-a-a-at?!" Asked Marlon, as the two went through the WHC like a roller coaster. Sam then decided to ask Marlon a question.
"So," Started Sam. "What brings you on this fine day to the WHC?"
"Waseri and I need to get to Slateport." Answered Marlon. Suddenly, something donned on him. "Waseri! Is she alright?"
"You mean Seaqueen?" Said Sam. "She is sub-level, dude." He pointed to another Blastoise that had Waseri resting, and her Jellicent sting was visible. Marlon swam down to see if she was alright.
"Waseri." He said. "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. It's my fault." Suddenly, Waseri woke up, and she was okay! She swam to another Blastoise and found six Squirtle, who then started chasing her. Marlon saw all the Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise having fun playing with each other. However, one Blastoise had a Squirtle in its cannon, and it launched the Tiny Turtle Pokémon out of the WHC!
"Oh, my goodness!" Said Marlon. He was about to go save the Squirtle, but then Sam stopped him.
"Kill the motor, dude." He said. "Let's see what Squirt does flying solo." Squirt returned to the Blasoise family and swam back to his father.
"Whoa!" Said Squirt. "That was so cool! Hey, dad, did you see that? Did you see what I did?"
"That was totally awesome, Squirt!" Said Sam. "Now give me some fist." He gave Sam a fist-pump. "Noggin." They head-butted each other. "Dude." Sam then remembered about Marlon.
"Oh, intro." The Blastoise started. "Jelly Man, offspring. Offspring, Jelly Man."
"Jellies?" Asked Squirt. "Sweet."
"Totally." Said Sam.
"Apparently, I must've done something you all liked...dudes." Replied Marlon.
"You rock, dude." Said Squirt, bonking Marlon on the head. Squirt then went back to playing with his friends.
"Curl away, my son." Said Sam. "It's awesome, Jelly Man. The little dudes and dudettes are just eggs. We leave them on the beach to hatch. And then coo-coo-cachoo, they find their way back to the big old blue."
"All by themselves?" Asked Marlon.
"Yeah." Replied Sam.
"But, dude," Asked Marlon. "How do you know when they're ready?"
"Well, you never really know." Answered Sam. "But when they know, you'll know, you know? Ha." Waseri, along with the six Squirtle, then spotted the Luvdisc.
"Hey, look, everybody." Said Waseri.
"I know that dude." Said Squirt, who was one of the Squirtle Waseri was playing with. "It's the Jelly Man!"
"Well, go on." Said Waseri. "Jump on him!" The Squirtle kids then did a 'Squirtle pile' on Marlon. They then started bombarding him with questions.
"Are you funny?"
"Where's your shell?"
"Do your spots come off?"
"Did you really cross the Jellicent forest?"
"Mr. Fish, did you die?"
"Sorry." Said Waseri. "I was a little vague on the details."
"So, where are you going?" Asked Squirt.
"You see, my son was taken away from me." Said Marlon. The Squirtle children awed in amazement.
"No way." Said Waseri.
"What happened?" Asked another Squirtle.
"No, no, kids." Said Marlon. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Aww, please?" Begged the Squirtle kids.
"Well, okay." Began Marlon. "I live on this reef a long, long way from here."
"Oh boy." Said Waseri. "This is gonna be good. I can tell."
"And my son, Rakki," Marlon continued. "He was mad at me. And maybe he hadn't done it, if I hadn't been so rough on him. I don't know. Anyway, he swam into the open water and when he was out there, these divers appeared, and I tried to stop them, but the boat was too fast. So, we swam out in the ocean to follow them..."
---------------------------------------
A Wartortle from the colony was telling the story to three Blue-Striped Basculin.
"They couldn't stop 'em." Said the Turtle Pokémon. "And then Rakki's dad, he swims out to the ocean...."
-----------------------------------------------------
A Barboach was telling the story to a Relicanth.
"And they bump into a Sharpedo, a Samurott, and a Huntail." Said the Barboach with a deep voice. "He scares them away by blowing them up!"
"Golly, that's amazing." Said the Relicanth with a squeaky voice.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
A Golisopod was telling other Golisopods about the story.
"And then he dives thousands of feet straight down into the dark." Said the Golisopod. "It's wicked dark down there. You can't see a thing."
----------------------------------------------------------------
Two Kabutops were fighting each other with their scythes.
"And the only thing they would see down there was the light of this big, horrible creature with razor-sharp teeth." Said one of the Kabutops. "Have you been fighting a Dragon-Type lately? And then he has to blast his way..."
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Two Lapras were swimming on the surface of the water, talking about Marlin.
"So these two little fish have been," Said a Lapras. "Searching the ocean for days on the West Hoenn Current."
------------------------------------------------
A flock of Pelipper overheard the Transport Pokémon and started taking about the brave Luvdisc.
"Which means that he could be on his way here right now." Said a Pelipper. "That should put them in Slateport Harbor in a matter of days! It sounds like nothing can stop this guy until he finds his son."
"I sure hope he makes it." Said another Pelipper.
"That's one dedicated father, if you ask me." Said a third Pelipper.
Author's Note: Sam is named after a Squirtle I had in Fire Red and Leaf Green: Salty Sam.
I know that Kabutops is canonically extinct in the games, but I couldn't think of any other Water-Type Pokemon (aside from Samurott, which I already used) that would do well in a fencing competition.
